Amazing presentation kind of makes you wonder where Creeds overall line of fragrances often fall short in the presentations. If I dare say if they had come out with an anniversary edition of aventus using the original recipe of the DNA and charged $500 for let's say a 125 ml increasing taste like that I think that people will be falling over themselves to purchase one of those special edition anniversary bottles. Just a thought

I've had it since 2008 and keep refilling it once it finish. Great performance, smell really good and it last long.

My bottle arrived in Feb 2017 and it's my honey's favorite fragrance out of the 700 or so in my Scent Armory. Initially, I noticed a strong resemblance to Original Santal...not identical, but in the ballpark. The presentation is...well, extremely opulent. The fragrance performs pretty well, but doesn't scream and stays within a nice personal scent bubble. To be honest, it's an intimate/date night scent in my World. Did I mention my honey loves this one. Cheers. Oh, Try it again and let me know it reminds you of Original Santal...just a smoother, softer type of fragrance. I picked-up my bottle on Beautyspin/Notino before they stopped selling here in the states. I think I paid about $150-$160 for it. Pretty good deal considering the perfume and presentation.

I remember you telling me you thought it was somewhat like OS, but I honestly don't get that. To me I smell much more of that Versace Pour Homme thing, mixed with a little Alien.

@@FragranceBros The cinnamon, vanilla and musk trigger that OS memoryl, with the big difference being the lack of that sensuous Creed sandalwood. I'm gonna layer it with Geo F. Trumper Sandalwood and see what happens. Could be.magical, could be tragical...one never knows. I don't detect any Versace Pour Homme, but I definitely understand what you're saying about it having a very upscale and polished designer vibe. This fragrance is one of my best kept secrets. Cheers.

I'm getting one of these soonest! The thing I've noticed with Arabian perfumes is that, they just smell the same till the end of the day! No upper notes, middle notes or base notes!

The second way you said shaikh was the right pronunciation. This is a beautiful scent. Refilling a bottle almost costs 110 bucks

Wearability for me is key. Presentation is excellent. Not a big fan of musky scents myself, but I can imagine many people would love it. Caution: Not to be taken internally. 🥃🥃🥃

This is one of the first arabic brand I discovered at the Bahrain airport in 2006 when I was traveling to Thailand. Back then performances were great on all their releases. I did not try their actual batches. Since I know you and your wife both like light scents, what are your impressions on performances for this batch you have tested?
