You know why I dig Markren. It's because one is from Canada, the other one is from China and they met in foreign land to chase their dream and have gotten along so well that they're now pretty much attached at the hip. markren is so pleasing to watch because they look so comfortable with each other. as a renchin, i dont have to worry whether renjun is receiving love as long as mark's around. the way renjun sees mark as someone reliable is so heartwarming too. i remember when mark graduated and there would be schedule for the whole nct, you'd always see mark with renjun. they really love spending time with each other.
Omg this is literally my favorite dynamic! They really do have a soft spot for each other, even back before Mark graduated - back then they were close but it just wasn't as in-your-face the way 2021 has been. And it seems to have only gotten stronger as time went on! It's nice to see that even beneath all the outwardly affection lies a deep sense of careful friendship with Mark making Renjun lemon water, lending him jackets, fixing his hair, etc. and Renjun naming Mark as one of the members he was thankful when they had to choose one, etc. Mark is such a big, confident Renchin, and Renjun is such a big, but subtle Markf. I don't think Renjun yelled at Mark for buying that jacket because it's expensive though. I mean they bought expensive gift for each other. I think it's more because Renjun thought that jacket was kinda ugly which is why he laughed and said he never thought he'd end up wearing it.

Having 7Dream back together this year has been one the great joys. There is an ease about them all (while also still being totally chaotic), like they are at peace. I feel it especially from Renjun. The way that Mark squeezes Renjun so tight and wants to squish his face and just adores him reminds me of how I feel about my kid. It's such a precious relationship
