Depends, but if you’re in press you should be feet square and generally lateral or at most 45 degree moves. If you’re in off man, you have to slow your backpedal a lot to gauge what the receiver is doing. You should also be cutting off of the opposite foot of where the receiver is going

@@GridironStuds Like the transition I’ve always played DB , but my coach wants me too switch too SS because I got bigger over the summer . Maybe I’m jst over thinking it .
