Love that quilt. No rules!! No matching ..that’s it, you can use so many pieces of parts that are recognizable and can jog memory.

Hopefully this is the way quilting moves in the future.... Using what is available already Lovely guy, thoughtful & quite humble. Such a shame there aren't more jobs for graduate artists...

Very enjoyable interview. Very down to earth and inspiring to use recycled fabric turning it into whole new cloth. Thanks for sharing especially for new/intermediate quilter.

Did he applique the cat onto the quilt front and back or just the front of the quilt?

OOh I can't remember - but you could ask him over on Instagram at @afullenglish! I think he probably did the appliqué before quilting.

Excellent Chris! I have been sewing and quilting for 30 years. Upcycling is the way! Less waste! You are absolutely NOT a cheapskate, you are giving him a heritage, something that took time and LOVE and less waste on the earth. More people need to do this instead of buying everything! Good on You I say!
