Oh god, you should really have mentioned the preplanning thing from the previous video here too :( I skipped it since I wanted to go blind to the heist, and today I spent like a good hour trying to find the civilian, and all the time spent looking stuff up on the internet and trying different preplanning stuff constantly messed it up lol
Hey Juanjo! Sorry for the very late response, I completely missed this comment. I actually thought I mentioned that detail in this video as well, but I edited all these videos very quickly on the first week that the heist released, so it turns out I forgot to do that! To make it clear for everyone else watching this in the future, I'll pin your comment here, and add the link to this video which explains HOW to force the CSO spawn location, so that he's at the bottom of the lab every time you start the heist, and where he goes from there: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Q_HIfAV3iIM.html
Haha ouch! At least it's a decently fun heist, so hopefully you enjoyed those hours! For me it's a lot more fun if I can kill some key civilians, although going full Pacifist for the achievement is a very nice challenge too :p
I managed to do it a little more messy and longer, but I've got to say this was a fun achievement to do. It required some experimenting and strategizing and while it was difficult it wasn't impossible or (too heavily) RNG dependent. Way more fun that scoring 5 headshots in 10s with a revolver anyways.
Definitely way more fun than the average achievement, I absolutely agree! Some PAYDAY 2 achievements feel more like "tasks" or "time sinks" than actual achievements / challenges. This one, combining a speedrun goal, and a pacifist requirement, is absolutely one of the best recent achievements.
I did this one the day the heist dropped, and It took me a solid 4 or so hours to complete. My route was slower than this one, but I ended up getting crazy good RNG where everything I needed was right next to each other. Saved me a whole 2 or so minutes, ended up finishing in like 5 minutes. But before that this achievement was hell to get.
Very true yes! This can be extremely useful while hacking some computers, although I got mine quite easily on this run, so I didn't get a chance to use the desks for cover...
Hey Idio! As *@Danilkin* said before me, this is all done without mods! Well there's my HUD, but the gameplay is all vanilla. Also as he said you can often join my lobbies! Every now and then I announce them on the Discord.
can you still skip the inspectors objective? I just tried this, secured 1 document bag at the start like you shown, then went down to the lab and destroyed the microscopes but i still had to kill them, which made me fail
It's still possible to skip it yup! I don't think it's related to securing 1 document early though, it might have been because I did the PA system before securing the NEO. To give you an idea, all lobbies where this heist is ECM rushed never encounter the inspectors (unless the lab role messes up, and accidentally doesn't destroy the 8th microscope, in which case Locke will ask you to deal with the inspectors, then use the PA system, then destroy the lab equipment).
@@Marcmb yeah im pretty sure i forgot the pa system at the start that time. finally managed to complete a run in 5;40 but completely forgot you cant kill civilians, killing the cso and running over 3 civs with the gold cart :p
It's a really really fun rush actually! We did some runs a few days ago, and it's really fast-paced: a full crew can complete this in a little over a minute, and you get more XP and more Stealth Bonus than Shadow Raid!
From what I've heard, the inspectors objective will only trigger if you do the objectives in chronological order. So f.ex. even obtaining the CSO's access card before the objecive says so will break the inspectors. Great run! I'd love to see you breeze through more achievements, if they're interesting enough to warrant a video :)
My last run they didn't spawn and I did everything in the right order except for getting the keys earlier, but what I tought caused it was the fact that I didn't kill anyone during the heist, but idk anymore
Hey Dark! As far as I know that is indeed the case yup: doing the objectives by following always Locke's instructions will trigger the inspectors, but breaking that order at any point cancels the inspection. Also in lower difficulties, the chance for inspectors is not 100%, so this might be what happened to *@jorgaomc*. Note that, on my video for the first completion, the first thing I did after masking up was pick up the keys (then followed Locke's instructions all the way to the end), and as expected I got the inspection! Also glad you liked the achievement video! It's one of my favorite achievements as of late (pacifist + speedrun), so if there are any similar ones in the future, I'll definitely cover them again :D
@@jorgaomc3398 Very strange! And you're sure you did _everything_ following Locke's given order? Because in my recorded run that was the case 100%. Maybe it's a random chance even in DSOD - I thought the chance was just for lower difficulties. I tried looking from the editor and there's an element called 'start_inspection_objective' which has some dependency on difficulty and crew size, but sadly I can't understand it fully :(
This heist is so short , i would have thought it was gonna be really long but the fact that you can complete it in 5m30s in solo and in ~1m20s with 4 players with the worst rng 🤯 this surprises me a lot. I didn't think it was gonna be possible to just ECM rush when i first saw this heist , turns out it's one of the shortest heist to ECM rush in this game .
I understand where you're coming from yup! The map itself is huge, so you would think the heist would be quite long as well. However, since you can do the objectives in any order, and do them simultaneously if you have more heisters in the crew, it ends up being extremely fast! Especially compared to the previous two, as *@jorgao* said, because those are completely linear.
as soon as I saw the achieve, I knew that it was going to be SUPER easy to do with 4 people ECM rush. Each person basically has 4 minutes to complete 1 job, which is an insane amount of time.
@@tarihimanyak9787 I don't play any mobile games sadly so I'm unlikely to make any content on it :( If I have some time to spare before PAYDAY 3, most likely I will look into setting up a stream, and hosting open lobbies all day! Rather than playing mobile games :D (my thoughts personally!)
Hey GTTOP! Excellent question (and glad you liked the guide). With a full crew, you can ECM rush this entire heist in a little over a minute. With an XP reward of 1.5M (before stealth bonus), and a 15% stealth bonus for your next heist, the XP efficiency is incredibly good!
Hey Clarkuff! This combination of fire ticks that I used on this heist leaves me with exactly 0.4 out of 230 health, so it's quite precise (any mistake with the fire timings would kill me for sure!). I have a video that explains how to do this in detail, depending on whether you're using Frenzy or not, and other optional choices! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-89XAtHjQMvg.html
Yup that part is a bit frustrating (RNG depending on the animation the civ does while getting down), although it's right at the start of the heist, so it's not too bad!!
Sorry about that NoExit, and thanks for the reminder! My plan was to release the updated solo stealth build shortly after the Solo XP Farming part 3 (which will be here in 2 weeks I think?), but the whole schedule got pushed back quite a bit because of the new heist. I'm now getting back to the important videos, no more new heist stuff for a while! :p
I did this achivment recently and forgot to use the pa system, had like 2 minutes left to use the pa system and destroy the microscopes, so i just ran in there and destroyed them in the view of the scientists and got out with 10 seconds left. 😅🎉
Hey rosee! I need to prioritize some others first (Shacklethorne common request, Ukrainian Prisoner really fun heist...), but I'll get to this one eventually!
Entering main building first and reversing golf cart are so amazing. I always secure the neo 2 first so I think that's the reason why my run always be not as smooth as like yours.
Entering the main building is so simple and so helpful indeed! Glad you liked that :) I definitely recommend starting with the CSO (tag guy), because that's the riskiest objective, and also the one that can save the most time!
So, I got the 3 heists and to honest I would rank them Lost in transit>Midland ranch>Hostile takeover. Even though transit and ranch take a longgg time for fairly low xp for all loot which I prefer, I just find hostile takeover hard, if only Overkill could balance xp, city of gold heist give all great xp for all loot solo/stealth and all take just ~15min, silk road doesn't except for San Martin. Going for all loot requieres you to get all the insane amount of paintings + the wine, the wine isn't much of a problem with the north escape but still, the paintings, my problem with this heist is how often civies insta see me even when crounched or running at super speed and than activate a chain reaction where everyone in the building gets alerted due to the close spaces all the NPCs are. And obviously getting all paintings makes that even worse due to having to pass through the civies even more often. I just can't really understand the logic of civies detecting you as sometimes in other heists I can just stand in front of them or straight up phase through them yet they don't see me while in this one it just doesn't happen or maybe its just some crazy skill issue I have with this heist and it requires me a lot of restarts. A side from that, good video will try to do this today, but why didn't you use the south escape? It would be closer to the golf cart I think. And also I tought you needed both the key and code to get the neo-2 so I would always get them both, good to know thats not necessary. Great video!
Interesting ranking! I also really liked Midland Ranch on my first playthrough, because it was very unique, but for replay value I enjoy Hostile Takeover a lot more, personally! As for the XP, it's true that the previous campaign had much better balance: the numbers on this current campaign are way too low across the board, especially for all loot. For this reason, I haven't even attempted all loot on this heist, since the time-efficiency is abysmally low. Plus a lot more risk in the civilian areas, as you mention. Moving at full speed past civilians is more likely to lead to instant detections, but the engine is really bad so it works out most of the time. Very unreliable, so I would learn to not rely on it for more consistent runs! Glad you liked this video, and if you try the achievement on DSOD, best of luck! :D
Doing this with duo is also fun and intense (Just like Auction Cry duo) 1 takes cares of the office meanwhile the other goes to the lab Split the works up and ride the golf cart to victory :D
It's really fun to do as a duo yup! Although there's no RNG involved then, so you can basically do it in 1 run, similar to the Auction Cry duo rush. I have plans to make a future video featuring different strategies, depending on whether you want to make use of the full 4 minute timer, or just ECM rush asap and finish in 2m36s of ECMs!
Haha! Surprisingly, that one works most of the time because of the sign allowing you to quickly hide. But it was very early in the run, so I took the risk every single time! :D
It would be interesting if Overkill before focusing 100% on Payday 3 gives us at least 200 new achievements in the game focused on ECM Rush/Speedruns! These "complete before certain time" achievements are so much fun.
That would be sweet! These achievements are the best, in my opinion: not some easy task like killing X enemies, or using some obscure weapon combination... those are quite bad! But speedrun achievements, and pacifist challenges, are a lot more fun! (especially when combined like this)
@@Marcmb I always wanted a pacifist perk deck that focus on zero civs kill or hostages to get xp bonus or stuff like that 🤔 sometimes I feel like killing civs on the map dont have any real penalty 😅
@@spkoftdvl There should definitely be more penalty yup. Maybe more XP for clean runs, or bonus XP for clean and fast runs, or XP penalties that are too fast and not clean, etc... Things like that to reward different playstyles!
It's a really fun way to move loot! Sadly it's only viable with an ECM placed (because you get detected very easily), but it's much better than the usual bag moving :D
@@jorgaomc3398 OVERKILL partners can have access to future content a few days/weeks in advance, they have been doing this practice for a while now (at least since 2022, maybe 2021?)
Haha well spotted hrznn! I added that tiny detail for people who like paying attention to the details in the video :p The real date can be seen on my profile (I think February 23rd), but I did some quick image editing to change the date on that image for the video :D
@@FLX_nf This is also true! They do get access a bit early, although I think December would be way too early for this DLC. In any case I'm not a partner, so I wouldn't get early access anyway :(
@@Marcmb But you should definitely be one, you're the best stealth content creator imo. I don't like loud reviews, it's always "okay guys, I completed it in X minutes with Copycat", it's so boring lmao.
