Same as 10 or 20yrs ago yet he manages to make it sound fresh. Imagine most folks have never heard him speak at length. I've been skipping redundancies forever but I love his demeanor in this interview.
Yeah he only bought Twitter for twice it's price because he's a petulant narcissist who needed to buy a whole platform because people were making fun of him on it.
@@MrNiceGuy485 Nice mental gymnastics. He wanted to buy it, and then got called out when he tried to get out of the deal, like the little narcissist he is.
How can anyone think that Elon is superficial or driven by greed? He’s an amazing combination of genius, integrity, intensity, persistence and honesty. Humanity needs him at this time. We must protect and enable him in the small ways that we can as individuals.
Lmao. Yeah I”m sure he is all that. He is a trained individual to sound like he is all that. Behind the scenes there are people doing all that. Not him. He just keeps repeating that same thing over and over.
I don’t know why there are people who don’t like Elon. He really seems down to earth and just trying to make civilization better. The media really tries to paint him badly. I hope he succeeds.
Because, the jealous people, don't want to lose the power, over humans. But Elon is great, and he loves the humanity, and for that he's try to do something to live better. I love Elon, overall ❤
Well he is one of the biggest liers in history. And if he get challenged on any of his claims he uses the term -you are a jackass. as defense. He will file for bankruptcy in a few years
He is not nti-establishment, he is anti lies, and establishment manipulation of the electorate, schools, universeties etc. as many of us are. @@havgresohgr9419
Actually we need fewer people who want leaders. Elon is particularly (and at least partially) successful because he doesn’t wait for permission or approval. He knows himself in a way that most people just don’t understand. He’s well educated but what makes him great is his curiosity and ability to be humble in the face of adversity. I’m so glad to get to witness him. He’s a rarity in this dumbed down world… people are typically conditioned to be followers. Unfortunately.

I think it’s more that he has a goal and is focussed on achieving it. If his answers changed it would prove he is not serious and full of sh!t. But he is clear about his intent. I think it’s disturbing that people like to whinge and complain about others who see problems and decide to do things to remedy them because they do things differently to how they’d do things. But they don’t do anything themselves. Classic human syndrome.
Thanks Matt for posting this on RU-vid, some of us are not on X. But also, this interviewer asked some of the best questions of Musk that I have seen in a very long time. Minimizing the chance that Elon falls back on all of his standard talking points that we are all VERY familiar with. He did a really good job of pulling out Musk's opinions on various topics.
The government's first job, in my opinion, is too make life worth living instead of every day a struggle to put food on the table and a roof over your head!
To make it possible to *personally achieve such lofty goals,* law order accountability Meritocracy, legal and physical infrastructure.... *then get the HELL OUT OF THE WAY Ms. Nanny State.*
@peterbrodersin6080 government is a legal fiction. It is an organ of society that was formed to protect property and the legal system was created to stop us killing each other… in the good ol’ days we would settle things in a dual or at the OK Corral in a shoot out. We are supposed to use our courts to remove controversy and come to peace. Anyway. No. Government is not there to make your life better. That’s a bizarre and ridiculous statement.

Thank you for sharing. Financial education is crucial today to show incredible resilience and discipline in the volatile market, masterfully balancing strategy and insight for success. This dedication to continuous learning is inspiring...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.1BTC to a decent 15B TC in the space of a few weeks... I'm especially grateful to Whitney Eston, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape..
Building a good investment portfolio is more complex so I would recommend you seek Whitney support. This way you can get strategies designed to address your unique long/short-term goals and financial dreams...
I agree that there are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy or market condition, but such executions are usually carried out by investment experts or advisors with experience…
"In the west, I think we have created regulatory gridlock, where almost anything is illegal. This is why they can't build high speed rail in California. They spent 7 billion dollars, and there is a 1600 ft section, is all they have to show for it. It doesn't even have rails on it. It is really too absurd for parody. Because large projects are essentially illegal in California. And much of Europe and other countries." -- Elon Musk
I love this guy. Also grew up in Africa as a kid and learnt the practical, "just get it done" and common sense approach which is vital to survive in Africa. Then when you take that to a wealthy country, with resources, the skies the limit. No European beaureaucratic nonsense, nimbyism and ass-covering.
Everyone has the hunt for the meaning of life. Nothing fills that void within us, except Christ. We are here for Him. God made us and he tells us the meaning of life in His written word, the Bible.
🤣 This had me chuckling before bed time. The whole GFY and Matt cleverly coining the whole "Grow Food Yourself"...absolute gold. Thanks to you and Farzad for sharing this awesome interview! And yes, we TSLA shareholders have sent a very clear message to the activist judge, the Chancery court, the person with 9 shares and those thieving parasitic lawyers. How dare you presume to dictate our interests and second guess our intent to support Elon and his amazing workers' mission! We all knew what we were voting for when we approved Elon's compensation package back in 2018. We all believed in Elon's leadership and guidance. We all believed in the mission. And if today's outstanding showing of support for Elon and the Board's resolution is anything to go by, we still believe! The fight against Big Oil, Legacy Auto, short sellers who masquerade in forums such as Reddit as 'concerned investors', bent politicians who are supposed to be putting their constituents first, corrupt unions, the insidious and deceitful Main Stream Media - mouthpieces of the vile oligarchs (Looking at you Mr. Murdoch) who topple governments when policies don't align with their narrative...and now the activist judiciary...is a long and difficult one. We must continue to do our part to support the mission and to stand firm, no matter how much FUD is pushed our way! For Tesla! For Elon! For the Mission! 🥊🥊🥊
Future, is already here, but for younger generations is frontier to explore beyond stars. And thank you Mr. Musk for you start travelling to nearest planet Mars to build city , its beautiful dream
Maybe you wrong and progress is important. Start asking the right questions. I recon creating jobs is important. Bare minimum is a couple hundred thousand put food on the table every month.
@billyscenic5610 you must be young... what is decadent? He owns a large stake in the company's he's built. Those shares have value that's determined by investors. Investors that take your retirement money and grow it I'd the company does well. He works much harder than you even though he has an incredibly high net worth. He does not sit in a room swimming in money ...if that's the pic you have in your head. I doubt I can convince you of anything logical but this is the answer. Because he organized materials and people successfully, he gets more resources to grow what he has and expand into new opportunities- that's the system that actually built great countries like the usa
I am very impressed by the warmth he radiates, I mean, this benevolence to shoot a car into space out of pure love of the heart. So loving his satellites, he is the epitome of the new man who digs tunnels and wears brain implants - yes - and also loves rockets.
NASA has been investigating that. If I remember correctly, less muscle mass, the length of the telomeres of DNA gets shortened, which might cause earlier death. However that was with 0 gravity and went back to normal as soon as they returned to Earth. I think it's ok with exercise
Humanity has a problem: we are self destructive. We harm each other and our common environment. We need to develop a common belief system. A system which implements a society which ensures justice for all people. Just as the individual has an inherent right of self defense, so does society collectively have the right to protect itself from the greedy few under the law. We need to define a new crime in order to protect democracy: preventing the free exchange of ideas. This should be defined as a crime against humanity and be enforced by the international court of Justice. Life is a struggle between good and evil. It is evil to harm others to benefit self. This is the lesson humanity needs to learn.

I just like to say that those those who don’t support Elon’s quest, don’t really understand how to advance said anything. I also think that is brief stent as a Canadian is probably what caused him to view who he is today :-)
This man's brain 🤯. So advanced everytime he opens his mouth we learn something new. God has created him for a reason. (Don't think it's for the reasons Elon thinks, though. To make humans a mutiplanetary species 🙄). Nope, but we will soon learn what Musk's purpose on earth actually is.
Yeah me too. Someone has to be prepared to take some solid sensible future-focussed political risks. I used to work with a nice guy called Aaron Knight.
Removing environmental regulations and encouraging people to increase overpopulation is crazy and will lead to ecosphere breakdown - and the end of human civilisation. I think he can relate to cars, rockets, tunnels, concrete and computers but not to birds, trees and nature in general. Maybe he wants to help but his approach will lead to desaster.
