I am going to do a full review on this mixer VERY soon, but as we've already talked about, I do think it's worth the money! I used it today when making an artisan loaf (the knead function) and I was very pleased.
I just purchased this mixfrom.a friend who is a PC Consultant. I've never made sourdough bread, so I'm disappointed that it has some undesirable ingredients. But, I guess that's on me because I shoukd have checked the ingredient list. Thank you for your honest review!
Love sourdough but yikes, at 7:29 you touched your hair and then went back to the dough! Food safety classes teach about potential infections because we carry staph naturally on our skin and hair. Sorry, worth mentioning for remembering in the future - especially because of caregiving in the elder community who can pick up illnesses easily. Otherwise, your video is very informative. Thanks for taking the time to help educate us.
active yeast or anything other than a sour starter or culture is not sourdough. but i think you know that. lovely bread but not the same gut friendly dough. my wife was told she couldn't have gluten it turned out she couldn't have the commercial yeast it was causing inflammation and irritation.
I followed their directions, which is what I would expect everyone to do. :) If I baked it the way I did my sourdough, that wouldn't be a good review :)
