This is crazy, on the JRE podcast Joe mentioned that Phil Hartman was uncomfortable on Newsradio at the beginning because SNL had everyone throwing each other under the bus trying to get their skit on tv. It was brutal, so when Phil switched from a sketch show to a sit-com, he said it was a breath of fresh air to have people united working together for a change. Spade confirms it!

First TV taping I ever went to...the episode where Nina found out she's a grandma and Finch tries to get it awwwn with all 3 generations at once. Just brilliant.

Lemon Whacky Hello was my ALL TIME FAVORITE EPISODE!!! 😂 😂 😂 soooo funny! We absolutely LOVED Just Shoot Me, Yes Dear, Still Standing, News Radio, Will and Grace, Wings and Becker. ALL great shows that I still watch; over and over! Haha

I remember reading somewhere that when they were thinking of someone to play Nina, somebody said an actress like Wendie Malick. That worked out well, didn't it? As I watched this, several favorite episodes came to mind: How the Finch Stole Christmas; the one as an episode of Biography about Nina Van Horn (and they even got Harry Smith to host it!); and the one that guest starred Mark Hamill. Just Shoot Me! is one of my favorites!

I love this show. It used to be broadcast on French TV on Saturday nights, and with my partner we used to have dinner while watching the weekly episode, crying from laughter. Thanks for so much joy and good acting and scripts !

I remember watching some of these episodes back in the day when I was too young to watch them. Then I just recently came across the series on The Roku Channel & on Crackle & I've been binge watching it over the past month. Man! How did I miss this in quarantine? If this was to promote all of JSM on HULU, I swear in June I bought every season for it on Amazon! I know they all miss George. What a show. And no, they would never get away with 90% of the model gags or just Finch being such a frustrated horn-dog. Much less Elliot actually being a successful horn-dog.

David Spade spent a good amount of time getting his comedic personas down flat during his time on SNL. The death of Chris Farley in 1997 tore a big hole in Spade's movie career. Fortunately, Spade was able to maintain a fantastic TV presence with JUST SHOOT ME. This was a landmark show about media, providing a unique perspective on many aspects of "show biz" that we usually don't think of. These folks were (with the exception of Jack Gallow) more "king makers" than anything else. Sadly, most of the cast hasn't rebounded yet, and we've lost George Segal now. Wouldn't it be great if they could do some wild re-boot to get this wonderful cast back together again?

I've got the Just Shoot ME DVDs and am watching them all again. So funny, so well done ! Only very slght problem is I loaned Season 3 to someone years ago and never got them back, so had to buy them again. But it is worth it to support such a terrific TV series. Thank you writers, cast and crew !!

I hate that Hulu has the final season in airing order rather than chronological order. The fact that the series finale happens and then 3 more episodes come after as if the finale didn't happen bugs tf out of me. RIP George. Jack is my favorite character on the show. HA!

An epic cast. I have so much respect for every one of them. Pam Fryman is an outstanding director, and very pleasant to work for. Steve Levitan was also a pleasure to work for, from what I saw a really smooth running show. This show was off the hook. Every episode evolved better and better. Sometimes the extra shots, after the audience left, would not leave a dry eye in the house due to all the laughter. Truly a wonderful show to take in and appreciate the endless humor. Great writing, lighting, set decoration, props, and camera work. Bravo, Y'all!
