I thought Tim was more vocal fry.

Nailed it. Each one has something beautiful to offer.

Tim is ok but he is no Geoff

Geoff is known for his subs but has one of the lowest full chest voices of the three, Avi technically is lower though. Tim has crazy growls and chest fry. What's great in this is that Geoff and Tim swapped signature techniques, Geoff hit a growl in his verse similar to Tim's unique way of using the growl for actual notes in lines instead of just for sound effects and background. Tim proceeded to do what I think is the only time he has ever recorded a sub (some said it was chest fry but I genuinely thing it sounds like a sub)

@@upsidedownpyramid7617 I think Tim does a very THICK chest fry. I've heard Peter Barber do chest fry that sounds extremely close to subharmonic. Whatever he ended up using, Geoff gave him a little smirk right when he did it. In the captions, he says "Show off!" LOL!!! Love the friendly rivalry. Tim does a mix of vocal fry and death growl, depending on the song. I'm not sure I've EVER heard him do subharmonics. (Let me know if he has!) He has said that Geoff has the deeper chest voice, able to hit D1 in chest although Geoff admitted it was NOT easy. His comfort zone bottoms out at F#1, and that's where he'll often flip into subs just to make it louder. Tim and Avi both get down to G1, in chest so all three are pretty much equal in their tessitura (comfort zone). However, Tim can get seriously low with those growls, G0 I think. Geoff is able to reach G0 in vocal fry but never does that in recordings. (Someone said he hit C0 in chest fry in his "how to sing low" video, I need to bring out my music equipment and figure out of that's true.) Avi's voice is less low with vocal techniques, I think his lowest note is a E1 growl, but he simply doesn't use tricks that often since his voice is so rich and smooth. He can sing much higher than the other two, so his modal voice is probably the widest. In general, all three are immensely talented in totally different ways, and we are blessed to live in the age of BASS.

My thoughts when I called them that is that they must have slayed a dragon to be able to breathe the fire that they breathe. They wreak havoc in the most enjoyable way possible 😂

I was just going to make the same comment. Most of the reactions I've seen, haven't used the captions, and in my opinion, they're missing out.

I havent seen this song before and I was like (after the kids sang) wait I recognize alot of these singers. I love how they brought alot of them back so we could see and listen to them again.
