A 2nd title would be cool. Gives them a chance to overhaul the game design and try new things without risking the entire series being unplayable. If the sequel fails then players will have the first game to fall back on until they get the sequel right then the next sequel after that can fall back on the 2nd game if that fails and so forth. Its a good way to establish a solo title into a series and keep innovating on the design

id like to see an updated second title, with carryover progression called “For Glory” with new features like Clans and a coliseum type gamemode

If they for some unknown reason did a second instalment I’d love to see more fantasy like orcs and stuff, which would also fit more ridiculous feats they are releasing

I think a second game with the same characters with updated movesets and some legacy rewards for people who reached certain rep milestones or just owned the first game would be cool

In this hypothetical sequel there could be far more better designed heroes due to the devs having experience with the style of game they want plus more customisation better executions more maps maybe even new modes but it's unlikely (I also want a dedicated Sumo style hero that actually feels like a sumo in their playstyle with a focus on being resistant to knock down and having hard hitting knock back moves)

To answer the hypothetical: I feel like any game-as-service title should not get a sequel. I would not have any problem if they continued to provide support or even updated more fundamental mechanics in For Honor - but having a For Honor 2 would split the fan base and would probably mean abandoning a game in which many people have payed sizable chunks of cash. I would love for the FH community to draw a larger audience, but the game is 99% its online content, and funneling players away from the fist game would hurt

I'd like to see a For Honor 2. Bring in the same heroes in a different order like MK or Street Fighter. So they don't have to build 3 or 4 new factions with 12plus brand new heroes. Just do 1 new hero per faction with fan fav repeats and some new game modes to start

honestly i’d love to see some sort of cross-progression. not crossplay. but cross progression where we can link ubisoft accounts or whatever between ps5 and xbox one or pc. i’ve played since the beta on my xbox one and just built my pc but i want to continue my progress from xbox onto the pc

I'd be down for a second game if they brought a completely fresh team with new ideas, I understand covid has made things difficult but the game has been lack luster for a long time before covid.
