Pity we don't have trains since 1956 here when all car manufactureres ruled the govt...we are bigger than Europe here and suffer 100's kms traffic files daily for no reason whatsoever....Devon is a breath of fresh air Bill, keep doing what you love and do best....thanks

Yup. I don't think she wanted to appear on 'Bills Phone Teignmouth' but Id already filmed that part twice due to traffic and wind, so I wasn't going to do it again. Silly thing is, had she just turn round, or even just walked on her way into shot, we wouldn't have even noticed her! 👍

Hello Bill, Harry in Nashville again. It's been a busy time so I haven't gone walking with you in a while. It's good to see the sea wall again and it would be better should there be a bit of steam on the rails. I noticed there is an access gate on the walk now. I hadn't noticed it before now, and I don't recall it being there several years ago, the last time I walked the wall.
Welcome back! The 'Crossing' & access gate has always been there - Heres the story behind it. If you purchase a house on the 'Woodland avenue' estate (directly above) there's a covenant from years ago, saying that as an owner of property there, you are allowed access to the steps on the cliff, and permission to cross the line - I guess more people started taking advantage of their 'right' a few years ago than there used to be, so Network Rail installed a proper crossing there - Complete with a gate on the far side that needs an access code - That way people are not tempted to jump the wall and cross, as they cant get through the gate. 👍

It was a lady actually - She said 'I do hope your not filming me' - I said I was, but only because she walked into shot! 😂 Anyway, Id risked standing in that road, long enough, and already done 2 takes due to the wind, so I wasn't going to go and film it again 😂
