I started watching your videos just because of the account name, and stayed because of great content. But still, please don't change the name 😅 JUST THE TIPS is absolutely perfect! 🤙💪😁

I wanted to do more than Just The Tips so I changed the overall channel name, but consider Just The Tips a show on the channel. So there will still be Just The Tips.

Simple but it gives you different way of know how far both balls go in percentages. I'm going to put this to work immediately. Thx.

Is it possible to think about this is in percentages of how much farther the cue ball or object ball will travel than the other ball (assuming the object ball does not hit anything else or get pocketed)? For example, if you hit a half object ball, both balls will travel about the same total distance afterwards because it was a ratio of 1:1. But if you hit a quarter hit on the object ball, then the cue ball will travel about three times the distance the object ball will travel because the numbers were basically 3:1. This isn't counting any additional factors such as spin, friction, etc. and assuming you were playing on an infinitely large pool table and neither ball could ever hit a rail or go in a pocket.

That works too

I use this on 1/2 ball hits when I am trying to hold the cue ball, if the ball needs to travel 2' and drop the cue ball must travel greater than 2'. Controlling speed when using running spin off 3 rails always has me guessing.

On the one hand, I wanna request a video on how to keep your parrots from taking a dump on your table but having had them, I know the answer is you don't, lol.

I would think when you draw it would not be 100% energy transfer? Some energy is still contained in cue ball drawing back and the other energy is transferred to the object forward. You can't have two balls colliding going in opposite directions and 100%. Unless I misunderstand. Great video, there is a lot to be learned from it.

I explain that at the end of the video. There’s ways to manipulate it with spin. Same with side spin. I can hit a ball 50% with running English and it will keep going further than if I used no spin. The point of the video is to give you a baseline and you can make adjustments from there.

Inertia and energy are not really the same.
