Exactly because he did that I can be more assured the Quran was preserved as loose manuscripts could be seen as loose ends and cause problems so this absolutely does not prove the Quran has changed...

He compiled it in one book with other companions and then sent out a copy and a companion that knows the Quran back to other tribes. So not only does this not prove ur point but, at least for me, it gives more proof that the Quran was preserved as it all came back to one copy that spread into more. The sent out copies were also approved by most of the other companions. About the sheep eating Quran verse no I dont believe that nor do I believe that Aisha was an intentional liar. The reason is very simple. If u look at other narrations (from different people) of that hadith they said something else, but when Ibn Ishaq narrated he said sheep ate the Quran. It is already known that Ibn Ishaq made mistakes sometimes when narrating so it is inconceivable to think that Ibn Ishaq was right in this narration. Also the entire accusation doesnt make sense because if they memorized it why didnt they just write it down again, its just one verse not that much. And why would they even admit the part of what was supposed to be in the Quran was lost. On top of this im supposed to believe that Aisha who was scared of stoning and was relieved of her accusation years prior to this event for some reason was again scared and said that there was a stoning verse that a sheep ate instead of just staying quiet about it. Moreover in other hadeeths we see that she said that adulterers do have to be stoned thus making this entire thing that it was in Quran and is now lost pointless. As for the the verse of suckling being abrogated and taken out. 1. Either it was there now its not because muslims forgot about it: This simply makes no sense 2. It was there but the prophet said its not part of the Quranic recitation. 3. It was there but later the prophet said its not part of the Quranic recitation anymore. Former or latter doesnt matter as the general consensus of the companions was that it is not a part of the Quran when they wanted to compile it into 1 Quran, this is not exclusive to Uthman or some single companion. Just like with stoning the rule still apllies even though its not in our written copies of the Quran, so nothing is missing we still have it but the general agreement is that stoning and suckling are not part of the written copies. There are many duas that are recited that are also not in the written copies so this is nothing special or weird.

Although I dont know where u got that idea from. My point is that it is a highly logical conclusion that when Uthman compiled the Quran into his "version" lets say, that it was agreed upon by other companions who knew the Quran and prophet. If that Quran that was available at the time and is now is indeed the word of God, that is a different topic. But there is simply not enough substantial evidence or reasoning behind the idea that Uthman changed the Quran by himself and muslims blindly followed since they believed it was from Muhammed as a revelation from God. There are many other even older Arabic pieces of literature that were also preserved so thinking that the 1 piece that people were convinced of was their way to salvation got corrupted because someone changed it is inconsiderable. Even though he was the caliph he would absolutely be caught if he sent out false copies, and im prettty sure Uthman would be executed on the spot.

Even if he was a close friend of the prophet he still wouldnt have the right to make a compilation by himself and send those out without anyone knowing. However this again doesnt make sense as each copy was sent with someone who already knew the Quran, so if Uthman just made a copy hiself he would have been called out and execution would not have been far off. Also ur telling me that a person who was close to the prophet and believed what the prophet tought is his way to salvation made fake copies and fooled everyone who knew the Quran and condemned himself to hellfire accoriding to his own belief... yeah just no. So we have people who were close to the prophet and strongly believed this was their only way to salvation, who memorised the Quran PLUS they found written copies THEN they came together and made a compiled book. Then that new book got sent out, carried bypeople who already knew ALL of the text (and more) that was in that BOOK, but somehow this written book was the work of solely Uthman and no one noticed. On top of everything im supposed to believe that one of the persons collecting the manuscripts prior to the compilation was Zayd bin Thabit, the personal scribe of the prophet and that he just let Uthmans final compilation be something different. So on the contrary, there is indeed proof that Uthman did not write down gibberish that got sent out.
