The letter was from his big sister who is deceased. She wrote it to encourage him when he was just a young boy to keep doing what he’s doing and he’s going to make it big and those words have come true.
Girl u are really excited 🙂 about burna, I also get excited 😆😊 anytime I heard him sing , his energy is something else, am now a fan of this guy because of him ,I got to know about him when Burna was first reacting to his song ❤️❤️❤️
I think it's the twi(native language) he was speaking that's why you could not fully grab the whole meaning of the song.. He is basically talking about his struggles basically in Accra (Capital city of Ghana)and his whole Journey and ow.. The sister mariam He is talking about was his cousin but unfortunately she passed away 🕊
Such a good tune Burna's energy was so high!!1 And to think that Burna's team contacted him that Odogwu liked the song and he'll love to jump on it, mind blowing! Sister Maryam is his cousin who died 2 weeks before the release of the song, sad!
Everything you said about Burna is true! Especially about the 'energy' and 'passion' he brings to every of his performance, be it stage or music video! That's what makes him ODOGWU!
Black Sherif verse First verse meaning: "Jiggas in a trap I don't want plenty talking I swear to God. Transaction hit account, big amount but Chairman don't want to share, So we've pulled up at his house, me and up to twelve killer boys. We are infront of the house, We've called him to come down......... Auntyb Marrie( His Aunt whom he stayed with when her parents travelled since he was a kid) don't have the idea that this is the life I'm living at Accra(Note: Black Sherif is from Konongo Kumasi, in Asante but went to stayed in Accra to school). Things I see with my eyes if tell her she will stress so I keep it all to myself, but all these bad things I'm doing I'm aware. No one has ask me to live a gangster life but that's my own choice and it's firm. Silence for a minute, Rest in Peace to sister Mariam( A cousin who helped him in the beginning of his life but now she's dead) If God permit we shall meet in heaven one day and I will tell you my story"............ For I know you're in heaven so beg on my behalf because this not what you thought me, but if I I don't do that, how can I survive.(He was talking about the bad things he's doing since Sister Marriam, his cousin left). So you have to accept me like that". Chorus: "Kwaku Frimpong de asem beba oo, asem beba oo asem beba" Meaning: Kwame Frimpong(Black Sherif) will bring troubles, He will bring troubles. Thank ya'll Go and subscribe to my channel please 🙏
@@JustVibes I love what you do but please react to Ghanaian songs. We have good Afrobeeat Artist who sing in English. Artist, @Gyakie Music, @Kwame Eugene, @Kidi e.t.c. Recently @Kidi has release a remix of his "Touch it" song with American rapper Tyga. You've gotta check that song out.
@@SPORTSTIPSAFRICA407 i reacted to the kidi remix , kelvyn boys down flat and camidoh sugarcane recently. I will definitely will react to more ghanaian music. I love ghanaian artists! king promise is one of my favs.
You replicate the energy in the song and it's cool hun. Your reactions are contagious so i unconsciously run to it on a daily and always expecting more
This is quite long. But this explains the real story behind the song; Upon careful listen of the song we hear him tell us more about his life. He make statement like the things he has seen with his eyes if he tells his old lady she will be stressed so he keeps it to himself, meaning the things he has seen on the street are so horrible and dangerous that he tells no one. He goes on to say no one told him to become a gangster it was his choice and his choice alone and he's firm on it and he's very much aware of what ever he does. He goes no to tell his Auntie (cousin) called Sister ("Mariama")to rest in peace and when she died and left them he came back to Accra to hustle and if one day he meets her in heaven he will tell her his story, he says he is doing so many bad things but because of money he does not care about anything. He tell his Auntie (cousin) that he knows very well that she is in heaven so she should intercede on his behalf before God, because he has lost his way and that was not how he was brought up and did not follow what he was thought by his mom. And the chorus goes on to say Kwaku frimpong di "as3m b3 ba" referring to himself. The second part of the song sounds more like a warning to some one when he say sad boys in the house if you are not part of us then bounce and we have sent you a message unannounced out of the blue we have come and it's loud. He tell his people he loves to think they want to fly so they should smoke in large quantity, he continues to tell his guys who have gone away to come home because they can't smoke all the marijuana by themselves he concludes by say he is totally lost his way and gone bad.
He is literally telling his story about street life, the things he had ti do to survive. Tho he wasn’t brought up in such life but he has no choice than do such things to survive

Yall STOP saying Burna brought life to the song. Yea, Burna probably brought more Awareness to the song, aside that, even as a Nigerian, i can tell this song is mad 🔥 even without Burna. Just listen to the original sound.
🤣🤣🤣we nigeria knows that it was owned by sherrif, but actually burna boy is helping and promoting him because non of nigerians know black sherrif b4, so dont come here and say trash...nigerians are not claiming this song because we are above to be claiming music, infact it will be a shame for us if we claim this song because our musics have casts along the universe and we are the head of africa....so stop jeaulosy
Your name will be changed to Ngozi when you get your Nigerian Passport, because you kinda look like Owerri girls in Imo state Nigeria... Thank you for reading 😂😂
