This is flawless! Awesome cover. The late Ric Ocasek and Ben Orr would be very pleased. I remember The Cars getting back in 2011 in DC, at the 9.30 Club. Albeit, Ben had passed and he was never replaced and great respect. It was 2 weeks before my birthday. It was a capacity crowd of around 1000+. Great memories live on and Singit's cover ensures this. Ben Orr was such a great vocalist/bassist/musician and from what I understand a great human as well. Wonderful rendition of The Cars classic. RIP Ben and Ric.
This is deceptively a very clever performance - listen to how Mario changes to the 'on' beat just after Tzan's solo - it's superb - you have to be absolutely on top of your game to that tight, as a band...and these guys are exactly that - brilliant...

There is talent here that goes beyond belief. Every song they do is spot-on starting with the lead guitarist who seems to hit every single note with complete accuracy. If you know this song as well as all their other music, they hit every signature note as if it comes from the original band, without exception. Now, that is talent!!! Also, their selection of songs are all some of the greatest hits in their day and they, without exception, bring them back to life in a BIG way. This is when songwriting was absolutely the finest and the best that has ever been done in history. I am in awe at how talented you have to be to accomplish this and produce songs like this. Keep the songs coming and keep this music alive!!!

You hear so few covers of this song considering its odd construction but a classic The Cars song. This is so excellent from the way it is played, sung, and produced. Darren you and your band really outdid yourself this time.

An absolute gem! Darren never disappoints on vocals, and the guitarists are always on point. Tzan absolutely nailed that lead! This is a great song from a great band in The Cars, sung by one of my favorite vocalists ever, the late great Benjamin Orr. I am glad his legacy lives on, and it tributed by such a great band as Singit Live! Great job Darren!

Bought single (in red vinyl) and then the album and getting to Plattsburgh State College in fall of 1978 to find out they were playing in the small gym - went by myself and loved the show - huge crowd of 300 didnt realize they were seeing a super group

I can't thank your band enough for keeping the greatest music era of music alive 😎. They haven't been able to match the 80's music till this day! I was so fortunate to graduate in 1980 and enjoy this music as a young adult going to clubs and parties. Memories I will never forget which helps keep me feeling young ❤

I didn't realise The Cars went back this far. Only "Drive" comes to mind for me. This track definitely, like Darren's hair, gets better with age. Great GoPro angles this week, along with the (nearly) in time head movements. The shades rock! Perfect song for Darren's voice, along with the keyboard jump-in's. Just needed a shot of Harley with his shades on to top it off. Kudos from Matty x
Excellent version - though I'd expect nothing less from Signit Live! I saw the Cars in 1979 and it was a hell of a show. At the time their music sounded like nothing else out there; they were the first band I heard called "New Wave" and it sure sounded new.
Holy crap... the RU-vid algorithm finally let you guys into my life, I think it was "Heart of Glass". After witnessing that, and seeing the energy and fun you're having performing, I had no choice but to traverse down the rabbit hole and tap into your 80's Classics Playlist. Loving every minute of it! As a former performer (damn, that rhymed) - I remember the sensation of it all, the "gel" of each musician and singer communicating with each other through music... it truly is on another level. Rock ON, my friends! 🤘
