How does this not have tens of thousands of views?? At the very least, every music nerd, band weenie and choir singer from the ‘70s ought to check this out. Anyone who loved Earth Wind & Fire on the radio will get a kick out of this deconstruction. If nothing else, listen at 17:30 to hear the most magical chord in the song, stripped bare. Just high and tight vocal harmony, soaked in reverb. Baa-dee-yah, babies!

When they hit that a cappella shimmer at 17:30-whoa!-my eyes got wet. A completely visceral reaction, and a little overwhelming. I’ve had similar emotional surprises before. Opera can sometimes do it to me, or when a barbershop quartet glisses up to a big add-9th and the room rings and I get chills. Unexpected and exhilarating. As you say: so good.

Love, love, love these stem videos! It's brings my heart great joy that you're discovering and enjoying all the songs that I grew up on. Ok, so, we've done a couple (or 3) of the disco tracks, 1 Carpenters (only 1?!), but I know one that I think you'd get a big kick out of, and that is The Spinners Rubber Band Man, a terrific funk track from 1976! Oh, the harmonies, the guitars, the rhythm! Just such a great, funky song! Thanks for these videos! You make this old man's spirit soar with your enthusiasm!! Thank you!

Totally agree with you... Earth, Wind and Fire were incredible. I saw them live in Madrid( Spain) but without Maurice White and it was superb ( not the same, obviously). The drummer was the great Sonny Emory. By the way, you sing very well. I think you'd try to write some songs.

So, I’m sure you’ve been asked a bazillion times before, how can I get ahold of stems like you do? I teach a Studio Recording class @ Rosamond High School. It would be great to have stems like these for my students to work with in class.
