Anyone that makes that claim and knows the story of the USS Liberty and her crew, can be viewed the as someone that would take a sledge hammer to the Wall Memorial in DC. I see no difference between the two and no explaining or excuses can change that.

There is an excellent book entitled The Attack on the Liberty published in 1979 by James M. Ennes, Jr. who was an officer aboard the Liberty. There is at least one other but this one is the best.
I was an enlisted E3 US Navy sailor when the Liberty was attacked. Several years ago I ran across two well written books on the event, "Attack On Liberty" and "Blood In the Water". I see absolutely no difference between the Japanese attack on the USS Arizona and the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty.
They're dragging you to nuclear war with Russia and China, they now longer need the U.S and Europe after centuries of the west sacrificing for them. They figured they'll just let the nuclear powers cancel each other and the world de-populated then they can make a claim to be the world's biggest superpower just like Britain and The U.S at a certain times in their histories. They need one last thing from you, to die.
The conditioned reflex of the American public to anything critical of Israel and its tribesmen is stunning. You can present them with all the facts and hard proof and they will absolutely refuse to believe in any of what you just said. My God, I never knew any of this. I was 14-15 when it happened. My Dad was in the Navy for 30 years, 20 active, 10 reserves. I never heard this story from him. God Bless all of the survivors and Bless the families and loved ones of those who were killed. I'm so glad this movie is out here now. I've already passed it on to a family member.

God bless you men! You'll see me wearing a USS Liberty hat when I travel and sometimes around the city I live in. I remember I presented a paper when I was in college about our 'ally'. The class was kind of torn however, when I got to Rachel Corrie and the USS Liberty I had won them over. They were upset they hadn't heard about this earlier.
Uss liberty, the lavon affair, king david hotel incident, the atomic spies, numec incident, urban moving systems and the list goes on.. so weird that there were no sanctions for israel.
My theory is that the Israelis knew or suspected that Liberty intercepted transmissions regarding Israel’s nuclear weapons that they had on standby in the 1967 war. Weapons made with the uranium stolen from NUMEC. The Dimona reactor was designed to produce plutonium but I think Israel ran into technical or financial problems and took a shortcut by stealing highly enriched uranium from NUMEC. A uranium bomb is much simpler to make but enriching uranium is very energy intensive and easily detected. As soon as the Liberty was under attack, all the sensitive equipment and data would be destroyed by the crew so even if the ship wasn’t sunk, they would accomplish the job.

They accidentally jammed all the US navy radio communications. And the international Distress Frequency - a war crime in itself. Then they accidentally tried to sink the ship for several hours because "they didn't know it was American, they thought it was a Egyptian trawler". They don't like Egyptian trawlers it seems.
Another person to research is Katharine Pollard Griggs, the wife of Marine Corps Colonel George Griggs, about the history of the U.S. military and the power elite. In her interviews with Pastor Rick Strawcutter she mentions Israel alot.

At the time of the attack on the USS Liberty, my dad was on the other side of the planet on the USS Charles R Ware disrupting supply lines and doing counterintelligence maneuvers. What happened to these seaman/Shellbacks is beyond horrifying. I can't help but think this could have easily been my father trying to get his experiences told and recognized by the American public. I come from a long line of veterans, including my grandfather being stationed at Pearl Harbor when it was bombed, and this attack hurts my heart in ways I am unable to fully articulate. It was my dad that told me what happened to the USS Liberty, shortly after the attack at Benghazi. History may not repeat, but it does rhyme.
I was researching a situation that had come to my attention many years ago and has been with me almost my whole life. My search for information brought me to the USS Liberty. None of this comes as a surprise to me. My investigation involved the CIA and the secondary events regarding bringing at minimum 1600 Nazi Scientists to the US, giving them houses and jobs and cars and whatever they needed. I never knew how that came about. Involved at that time were Israeli soldiers along with US veterans. Jewish groups were operating under the Never Again movement. I understand Never Again. I know that I am opposed to what Never Again may mean in real life to innocent people. The CIA was being investigated for activity associated with Nazi practices and research. I think the USS Liberty was attacked because it was a spy ship. I found events of extreme military punishments on Egyptian forces by Israeli soldiers. It was brutal. That brutality continues. I can make assumptions about what this was, but I was not there. But I am convinced this is all tied together. The investigation of the CIA needs to be brought forward.
What bothers me is the fact that this very LARGE non-defensive Belmont-class research ship (a SPY ship) was sent to the Med with no protective cover... no destroyers, no cruisers or even a couple of smaller frigates in the immediate vicinity at least as I've heard so far. Had there been they would've served as a deterrent to any nation even thinking about attacking a ship doing surveillance. As a Navy veteran it breaks my heart to know of this betrayal by our own government.
None of these brothers could even concieve the possibility that it was a false flag operation by Israel, something Israel is known for, and it would be heart breaking to know that the U S Government might very well have been in on it, something President Johnson is known for. Let them known they are worth more than that, in fact, they should not just be heard but also honored and treasured.

I vaguely remember this as it happened when I was 4 years old . There's no reason for all parties , our so called government and the Isreali government to confess all the facts. No way this was a mistake but it certainly was a cover-up involved here. Up to this point I've always been a supporter of Isreal , but now it's different . My eyes have been opened and I've seen the truth . All these guys deserve compensation , financial , emotional and an honest explination of what happened . Until then , it's different.
