Her comments at dinner were inappropriate but damn, to call a grieving mother a murderer for doing probably one of the hardest things she'll ever have to do in her life is just appalling. Far worse character judgment than insulting the turkey.

I am normally a fan of judge Milian but I think her personal believe was a factor in this case. The judge called the young lady rude for the "dry turkey comment" but had nothing to say about the aunt calling the young lady a murderer. We now live in a word where its unethical to call someone's food dry but okay to verbally attack people who decide to end their pregnancy due to medical condition.

And @nancyosazee7553, you did not listen to what the judge said to the defendant. Has nothing to do with Judge Millian religious believes. That the defendant was out of line for calling the plaintiff a murder. And the plaintiff too the argument too far also.

The defendants comments were way more harsh. The girl should have left early but the defendant should have never invited them over there as well. Her bias on abortion she could keep to herself even if the girl did insult her turkey. She admitted to physically making contact with her. That's never acceptable. I do wonder Judge Milian's stance on abortion because she didn't seem phased about the abortion comment but mainly concerned about the girl being rude about the turkey. Seems biased.

Honestly, Millian was weird on this one. This young lady has lost her child, the doctor had told them the child wouldn't survive and she made the DIFFICULT decision to terminate the pregnancy early. This must have been incredibly painful for her and her boyfriend.

I wonder what type of God does the defendant pray to that has her believing lying, vile insults, and violence are acceptable? The defendant is a textbook example of a fanatic and a zealot. The young couple should avoid her (and similar family members) because fanatical zealots will always push their beliefs on others ... and the couple certainly shouldn't give them a shot at influencing their future children.

Carrying a baby full term knowing that the baby will die the same day is torture I’m so sorry they had to go through that and I’m glad they did what was right IMO The judge was too harsh on them.

The aunt is a despicable human being, and sadly the judge is too, for agreeing with her. Expecting a young woman to carry a baby to term, after being told by doctors that the baby will die in pain the same day, isn't a christian thing to do. It's a cruel and wicked thing to do, for the mother and the baby. I don't blame this couple for cutting of his family, his family is trash.

No parent that has to make the difficult choice to end a pregnancy that late into it, makes it lightly. How that family treated this this young couple is horrible. And if you're pro-life you better be ready to pay all the expenses of keeping a child wirh extreme health challenges alive. So, is the aunt REALLY pro-life? I doubt it.

She called the girl a murderer after the girl was complaining all night and making snide comments. You can't tell people how to react. She started it and the aunt went below the belt. If they were so unhappy with the food they could have left. They didn't and the aunt told them to leave. People need to stop being so entitled. If you start a fight then you don't get to sue for money

What Judge Milian needs to learn is that someone who calls you a murderer for going through the trauma of terminating your terminally ill pregnancy is NOT true family. Just because someone is related to you does not mean that they will be a positive force in your life. Real family are the people who would open their arms to that person after making a heartbreaking choice. This obsession with having to play nice-nice with blood relatives who behave like sociopaths is nothing short of moronic.

@@hollystiener16 In a different recent case about abortion, Milian makes it very clear that she believes abortion is the woman's choice and that you "don't need a reason" for it (she used those exact words). That's why I find this particular mind boggling

I am a Christian too, & have similar beliefs. BUT... even Jesus spent time with sinners in a loving way. That didn't mean He was in agreement with what they were doing. It means there are better ways to win people over to your beliefs, IF they choose to. But we can all be civil to everyone at all times!

How can the judge equate insulting someone's cooking with being called a murderer for such a personal and traumatic situation? They were wrong to even accept the invitation to dinner. Some words and actions are irrevocable. My mistake for giving Millian a second hearing after watching her on People's Court 🙄

I agree with the judge… both were wrong but if the couple could not forgive the family, they shld have not accepted the invitation. I dont agree that the aunt called them murderers but they were aware that if they accepted the invitation, they were supposed to let bygones be bygones. As it is it seems that the couple went with all intentions to stir trouble and create havoc.

Just cause you accept an invitation doesn’t mean you have to let shit go. They were probably trying to get to that forgiving point and had their fill. Both parties were wrong in this instance.

That has no bearing on whether or not she approached the person who responded to her being aggressive. The kids are wrong here and they would do well to simply not follow family on social media and keep it pleasant during visits. I don't share the same beliefs as my parents, and not having social media to passive aggressively fire shots at each other made a world of difference for our relationship.

I love Judge Milian but I'm a little surprised how empathetic she was towards the aunt. Calling someone a murderer for making such a hard decision is way worse than insulting bad cooking. Personally, I wouldnt have gone to the aunt's house though. Some people are so set in their beliefs and they consistently push those beliefs onto others it makes being around them unbearable. I have family members who are complete opposite of me and we get along great, but there's some relatives who can't seem to contain themselves and the vile vitriol can't help but be spewed over everyone within earshot. In cases like that it's best to keep your distance. Life's too short to have to deal with hateful people.

The plaintiff at the end sounded like a spoiled snot nosed child. Who is she to decide what "they" are going to do if the aunt doesn't pay? It's his family. The judge ruled against her having to pay. She should've left when she was told to leave.

I just watched this episode, and i am so disappointed in Judge Milan. She made a bigger deal about the aunt being called an old bag in response to her calling the girl A MURDERER. WTF Judge? Milan made it out as if the girl and her husband were the bad guys. I would say being called a murderer is pretty terrible. I'm my opinion that comment was the worst comment that was uttered during this entire case. Milan is turning into judge judy, and i can't stand her prejudice, rude, and old azz.

I think what the aunt said was below the belt but plaintiff came in and she was complaining all night long. If you come in someone's house talking about them then you cause the chain reaction of starting a fight. Everyone is focused on the word "murderer" which is wrong but the girl was rude.

I think both were wrong, each person is entitled to their belief, but the defendent should have kept her opinion to herself. The Plantiff went looking for a fight and she got hurt, so no body really wins.

I'm with the aunt. The girlfriend already knew about similar 'murderer' comments from the past. So why agree to attend a likely tense and volatile fence-mending event, then get drunk, insult people in their own home, and then get in their face? I can see how the girlfriend's behaviors led the frustrated aunt to retaliate regrettably with that 'murderer' comment again. Not saying that wasn't a nasty and hurtful retaliation but, regarding the girlfriend's wrist injury, we have to look at the cause and effect here.

SMA or Wilkie's Syndrome is not usually diagnosed until a newborn screening. Then it is decided how severe the disease is. In the most severe cases - life expectancy is about 2 years but many have SMA and while there is no cure - it is treatable through a variety of measures. I'm sure that's why the family felt they should have had the baby. I agree with the Judge.

unaliving a baby in the womb is murder - by the time you find out you're pregnant there's a heartbeat, which means the baby is alive and growing...hence there is LIFE! Could the aunt have handled it a little bit better? OF COURSE! They all were wrong in how they handled it, but I'm pretty sure the nephew nd girlfriend already knew how the family felt about things like this, so it should not have been a surprise to how they all reacted/responded
