It’s crazy what a director can do for a performance. In 2017’s I couldn’t stand The Flash but in ZSJL I actually could handle him and love some scenes he was in. Shows it’s not always the actors fault for what we see. A good lesson for us fans.

It was actually Darkseid who killed Lois, according to Snyder. That’s why she’s a charred skeleton. You can actually see Vulko turned into a charred skeleton by the Omega beams in Cyborg’s vision.

I was thinking this as well after watching the Snyder Cut. I never even realized in 2017 because there was so many other problems I guess, but usually he gets his powers at CCPD while working late one night. So I guess in the DCEU he was probably studying in chemistry college when he got hit by lightning, survived and gained powers.

If grants Flash was in the dceu he’d be a god. Because in the dceu they realistic laws of physics such as passing light speed to time travel, whereas The cw says mach 2.2 and you can time travel. And since Grants flash isn’t far off of light speed then translating his laws of physics over would put him millions of times faster than light speed in the dceu

At the end when flash is running (during the epilogue), he disappeared right after going super fast. Since we don't see the lightning trail continuing, we can assume that he really disappeared. In the CW shows if you go fast enough you break the dimension barrier. Could this be what happened? Especially since JL flash appeared in Crisis.

Maybe his dad is going to be given the death sentence as a different type of motivator for flashpoint but his dad tells him not to change anything and to not break him out. This could be the tipping point for him. Although he wouldnt know about reverse flash yet so this is how they could introduce him with Barry meeting him for the first time as he is trying to kill his mother. Just a thought.

I like this route the DCEU could try to take. Instead of carefully crafting the continuity of dozens of movies and TV shows, just make everything be its own part of the multiverse, and if some things work, make a crossover. That's what they do in the comics and animated movies, and it works pretty well there, at least.

🔱So the Aquaman movie is not a part of the Snyderverse but we all love the film, I was thinking because there are a couple of continuity errors between ZSJL and Aquaman, maybe the events of Flashpoint could alter and change some of the backstory of the characters and stories from Aquaman, like Mera having an accent and dead parents, Vulko having long hair and Arthur hating his mother and essentially make Aquaman cannon in the Snyderverae🔱

i don't think Barry "reverses time". he's simply going back in time. what we see is time "reversing" from Barry's point of view as he's moving backwards through time. i think you're making the same misinterpretation that people have been making about Superman's time travel in 1978's SUPERMAN movie. both Superman and The Flash do not "reverse time", they're just going back in time. think THE TIME MACHINE: we see time "reversing" around the time traveller, but that is just his POV of going back in time. and the same is true about Superman in SUPERMAN and The Flash in JUSTICE LEAGUE. we see them moving backwards through time, which looks like "time reversing" from their POV.

the movie presents it like he rewinds time like Number 5, but other flash media and portrayals make it seem like he enters a portal or something and enters the past, which is why he could interact with his past self

@@riduanaqil1452 basically it comes down to the same thing anyway. the important point is that Barry is the only being who is actually experiencing this "time reversal" consciously, as his local/personal time continues to flow forward while time around him is flowing backward. i don't think anyone else experiences this "time reversal" consciously. to everyone else, it appears as though Earth was never destroyed by The Unity and Barry arrived in time to get Victor into the Mother Boxes. Barry is the only one who saw the destruction and then traveled back through time to stop it. so in the end, it still comes down to Barry time-traveling, which looks to him (and to the viewer) like "time reversal". and i would guess that's what Snyder meant. we are seeing a time reversal, but it's from Barry's POV. that doesn't mean that Barry is actually turning back time like Thanos did with the Time Stone. it just means that Barry is moving backward through time, and the visual depiction of this is a time reversal :)

So basically the Flashpoint film will do for the DCEU what Days of Future Past did for Fox's X-Men films. When you have a wildly inconsistent continuity, just eventually toss a time travel film in there to retcon the parts that don't make sense.

Can I be completely honest with you Erik? This flash movie sounds like it’s gonna be trash, They aren’t trying to merge each and every multiverse into one (cw, Snyderverse, Old movies) They are trying to REPLACE Ben affleck Batman with Robert Pattinson instead of having them co exist in the same world.

Flashpoint paradox concept can actually do so much more. WB dont have to cancel their DCEU plan as well as dont have to cancel the snyderverse. Just like animated movies. Fans will watch whatever universe given

We need an episode of you guys trying to figure out how fast is the flash running to physically be at 3 or 4 jobs all at the same time. Assuming he doesn't work a night job. His dad said he's working 3 dead end jobs how does he make time?
