The Ultimen were all original characters created as an homage to the original characters that Hanna-Barbera created for the old "Super Friends" cartoon back in the 1970s... • Wind Dragon = Samurai • Juice = Black Vulcan • Long Shadow = Apache Chief • Downpour & Shifter = Zan & Jayna (The Wonder Twins) It also makes sense that Aquaman is in this episode, since he was a major character in almost every incarnation of "Super Friends."

I feel bad for the Ultimen, being created by Cadmus to serve as a replacement for the Justice League, their entire lives being fabricated to keep them in line, and worst of all, instead of trying to save them from their deaths, they decided to make new Ultimen instead of helping the originals. They really are the best example of a *Tragic Villain.*

So the ultimen are remade versions of old-school superheroes. I personally only recognize Longshadow who is based on Apachi Chief and the two twins who are originally called The Wonder Twins.

I wish the series gave us one more episode with Long Shadow. I liked him. The Ulti-men are versions of some DC characters from the Super friends TV series. Wind Dragon is a version of Samurai. Juice is a cross between Black Lightning and Black Vulcan. Long Shadow is a version of the character Apache. Shifter and the water one are a the Wonder Twins. Most DC Fans hate the Wonder Twins.

No disrespect, but these Ultimen are right beside Booster Gold because who are they😂?! Just kidding Booster is a legend, but they were ready to become villains once they realized they're clones💀. Giving up Waller's address and contact info is reasonable, but her daughter's location is wild🤣. Just put her on an uninhabited island along side Lex with no technology, all future problems would be solved🥳

The ultimen are remakes of the classic super friends heroes black vulcan, wonder tiwns, samurai and apache chief. That is also why aquaman showed up in the episode as a reference cuase they made him a joke.

@D-man the captain yes they were made for the show black lightning was supposed to be in super friends but they couldn't get the rights to him and made black vulcan and then they re remade in young justice

For these superheroes to be sued, but they are not real, ouch. Going rouge. With Long Shadow 'one of them has a heart to stick around the Justice League'...Those other 4 ones have lost it. And this Amanda Waller, what's her deal with Batman?
