Justice League Unlimited 3x13 Reaction (Destroyer) 

I love it when Wonder Woman said "And the adventure continues.". This maybe the last episode of the DCAU, but the heroes will never stop.

Batman dodging darksides omega beam is still one of the badass scenes in the DCAU still to this day and whoever disagrees is lying to themselves

Manhunter transformed into a dragon in the intro of Justice League season 1 and 2 and he finaly does it in show

This is still the best superhero series I’ve ever seen. It is yet to be topped by any comic, film, or animated series in my opinion.

This was one of the best massive battles in DC.

Even though Justice League and Justice League Unlimited are the greatest shows in the DCAU, I still very much look forward to you seing how it began and progressed with its phenomenal characters throughout the years.

Darkseid saying "Let's Go" at the end of his speech always goes so hard. That dude is so pissed over his death that he used Superman's words back on him.

For me, there was no time where I was as engaged and enthralled with a show during my childhood as I was with Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. Even though I had seen most of Batman the Animated Series and Superman the Animated Series (I actually hadn't seen Batman Beyond beforehand at the time), there was just something about having all the characters together and seeing their amazing repertoire and banter that just felt unparalleled. It felt like everything and every DCAU show I had seen beforehand had led into this and it just felt so organic and world changing. Bruce Timm and company certainly brought a lot to the table, but once the late great Dwayne McDuffie came along it was as though magic had happened. The story was action-packed and allowed for a nuanced exploration of the relationships between the characters. JL and JLU had phenomenal long-drawn-out stories, stretching over a many episodes which allowed for greater character exploration and universe building. The character building and depth given to so many individual characters was just unmatched and so masterfully done. Although the main team still took most of the spot light, it wasn’t just them. There was a whole world of superheroes out there in the Justice League, and the show highlighted that vast legion. It would regularly swap out members of the team to use those characters as well, so they never felt like background players, but a vital tool in the series’ makeup. It made the show feel like it took place in a huge world, instead of being confined to a handful of heroes and rogues. The villains is particular were given so much attention, gravitas and exploration, especially Lex Luthor who is easily the best villain in the entire DCAU. In relation to that, one of JL and JLU’s greatest strengths in this regard was that it used that scope not just to bring in more heavy-hitters, but to really explore the depths of DC’s roster-Huntress, the Atom, Doctor Fate, The Question, Star Girl, Booster Gold, Red Tornado, so many more were introduced to so many for the first time through the series. It took those characters and put them on the same level as a Superman or a Batman, gave them moments to shine that they never could have gotten, outside of the comics, in any other show. For many, JLU was not just the definitive interpretation of heroes like Hawkgirl, Martian Manhunter, even arguably Wonder Woman, Batman (I’ll go into this one specifically later), or Superman, but also some of DC’s most obscure heroes and villains too. The fact that Unlimited embraced that, and used that ability to truly capture the scale and size of the comics it was inspired by. It embraced its source material wholly, and dove straight in to create what is still one of the finest comic adaptations to this day. Justice League Unlimited was unafraid to be the wildest, biggest, comic-book-iest show it could be. I’ve talked about the show’s huge sense of scale, but Justice League nad Justice League Unlimited also excelled on a micro level as well when it came to its characters. The core team of the League were explored and transformed into layered, engaging, and fascinating characters that, as I said before, are for many the definitive realisations of these heroes. I’m not sure there are many who wouldn’t take JLU’s Hawkgirl over her immensely convoluted comic counterpart, for example. But one of the show’s greatest strengths in characterization, and what makes it still so important today, was that Unlimited was the culmination of one of the ultimate Batman iterations ever made: Kevin Conroy’s animated hero, the one that had been around on television since 1992. Being on and off TV for the best part of 15 years meant that the character had a lot of time to evolve and grow, but Unlimited polished off Conroy’s take on Batman, by softening the character’s edges just a little-his amazing relationship with Wonder Woman, his deadpan humor, and capacity to care for and understand almost anyone-and sealed it as one of the best Batman takes in or out of the comics.

The best ending to the best animated universe, Bruce Timm and Paul Dini do what UCM and DCEU fail. But this is not the end, this continue in movies like Batman and Harley Quinn and Justice League vs Fatal Five.

Darkseid and Lex became part of the source wall

For the final finale of the whole DCAU cartoon, this is an awesome episode here. From superheroes and villains joining together 'for now' as they stop Darkseid and his minions from taking over Earth. From plot twist of Superman stopping his main villain of all, with Batman and Luthor's help. As well as good seeing J'onzz once again. Yeah, I will always love the DC Animated Universe cartoon series from 1992-2006.

This is a great ending for a great Universe is the DCAU

So you've still got BTAS, STAS, and Static Shock. I would recommend watching them before you get to Batman Beyond, just to the full experience. The movies too

The Perfect Ending for me

Did anyone notice at the end of the episode we get Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman running down the steps together? That’s to pay homage of them being Dcs big 3

Glad they cleared up how they survived that ship explosion🤣, I was really scratching my head on that point last episode. But Darkseid wasted no time invading the planet, I thought he would prepare for a few weeks but his army stay ready💪😤. Well as ready as they can be because the heroes and villains were actually using teamwork🥳, thought there would be a betrayal or something but nope💀. And I didn't expect to see Jonn disguised as that old man🤯. I was wondering who that beast of a human was, but it was Manhunter flexing on the League😎. And I guess Superman was just waiting for a good reason to not hold back anymore😈. I mean he could have done that last month when he destroyed my car tryna give the bad guys a fair one, but I see you😵‍💫. Lex casually getting the secrets of the universe and dies saving the world, somehow seems fitting💐.

By far the best animated battle and DC's version of endgame except this one came first lol

Justice League VS The Fatal Five is a movie recently releashed with these versions of the characters

Would be 11 years before Bruce Timm returned to this universe (despite doing some elseworlds in a similar art style and doing movies reuniting the casts) They finally returned in 2017 with Batman and Harley Quinn and then again in 2019 with Justice League VS The Fatal Five With Kevin Conroy dead its probably unlikely we will get any more

11:32 We were. Kind of unfortunate that Aquaman didn't show up there. They were making a TV Show at the time, so they weren't allowed to use Aquaman or his cast. Devil Ray was actually supposed to be Black Manta and Wonder Woman was substituted for Aquaman in that environmentalism episode.

Teen Titans, Justice League Unlimited, and Avengers Assemble are the best incarnations of the characters alongside Live action and I think you should react to Avengers Assemble and HBO max dc titans

Joker was originally gonna be with batman superman and lex and the bat family were gonna show up but the bat embargo prevented it

You mentioned watching Batman Beyond after BTAS but I did tell you before that before watching that you have to watch Superman the Animated Series because a lot of elements of Superman are essential to Batman Beyond and it's an amazing show. Like I've said I'll let you know of the correct watch order.

I feel like they could have made this a three-parter. Maybe it’s just me, but this felt a little…rushed? I wanted to see more of this climatic battle! This was rather short!
