Justice League Unlimited 3x9 Reaction (Grudge Match) 

The ultimate cat fight no man is missing

This was such a fun episode, top 3 of this season imo, I’m still wondering how Roulette and Lex managed to pull this off without any of the guys in the league figuring it out though

Bro I spent hours laughing when huntress punched the hell out of canary as soon as she was free from being controlled

*To explain:* they're mind controlling them through their communication devices, and since every girl on the tower wear them, Lex was easily able to do them using Gradd's power

Gotta love the nightwing cameo in the episode

One of the things they wanted to do the most in this show was forming the iconic team the Birds of Prey which most commonly consisted of Dinah Lance aka Black Canary, Barbara Gordon aka Batgirl and Helena Bertinelli aka Huntress. Batgirl had long been introduced in the DCAU and was voiced by Tara Strong (the voice of Raven in Teen Titans and many more). The episode "Double Date" (scripted by famous Birds of Prey author Gail Simone) in season 2 would have also featured Barbara's debut in Justice League Unlimited. But due to the restrictions on Batman-related characters, she was replaced with Green Arrow and the Question. At the end of the day they said the episode we ended up getting was better anyway so they didn't mind too much. The reason she wasn't allowed to appear along with may other Batman related characters was because Christopher Nolan didn't want for characters that were in his movies to appear in any other media that were running at the same time. That is what they callled the Bat Embargo and was forced upon all animated DC projects that came out in the 2000's. It's why Nightwinh, Robin, Batgirl, Scarecrow, Riddler and other characters didn't appear in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. It's also why Batman never appeared in Teen Titans and why Robin only appeared in The Batman 2004 series after Teen Titans had ended and why villains who appeared in the Nolan films never appeared in The Batman Series like Ra's Al Ghul, the Scarecrow and Two-Face. More puzzlingly, the Mad Hatter, who never appeared in the Nolan films, was also absent.

Scary part is since Huntress has no powers, she would have been dead if Wonder Woman landed even a single punch on her.

I love how Wonder Woman literally kicked the asses of 4 female heroes Lol.

Realistically Vixen is the only one out of the 4 who could stand a little chance against Wonder Woman.

All I gotta say is that Roulette sure knows how to do business, went from operating out of a run-down bar to an arena😂. She definitely was selling out every seat, who wouldn't want members of the league just destroy each other💪🥳. I might have to get myself a ticket one night, and I won't be betting on Canary💀. I will never forget how she dropped down on that robber and got a nasty right-hook🤡, I know that robber was feeling like an A-tier villain🤣.

Nah, the show on a couple occasions makes it plain that the gap between Wonder Woman and Hawkgirl strength-wise is pretty big. WW can beat her up for sport, as seen here lol 😂

There was NO ACTUAL WAY they could've win this WW is basically a better trained Superman, They were honestly lucky to get out of that situation alive

Too bad there wasn't a part 2 where we could have seen a grudge match with the male Justice Leaugers goung at it.

A big-time cat fight going on from the greedy Roulette again. From Huntress, Black Canary, Hawkgirl, Vixen, Fire, and Wonder Woman. Well they are being mind control for the other three, while the other two girls have to stop the mess up match. As well as seeing the nice romance with Huntress and Question is going well for the two.

Definitely one of my fav episodes
