i already started panicking when bats said "i dont know". you know shit is about to get real when he is clueless and then that line was the icing on the cake
Ya, but after Flashpoint, didn't Barry give Bruce a letter from his dad and that is supposed to be this timeline right???? Then why are they meeting for the first time here and Flash is fangirling over batman????
I like how specific you are "the heroes with powers" which doesn't include Green Lantern who's a normal guy with a ring. Even without the cash & the gadget, Batman would still be the best detective, a world-class martial artist & a resourceful person with a genius intellect.
@@cuntpoopoo293 Yeah, he does have a cold and serious attitude like a professional but he does respect those he acknowledge at least. Unlike Green Lantern who leaves a bad first impression like always acting like jerk who is arrogant enough to think he can do anything despite he messed up all the time.
I love how GL and Flash know each other, but Batman was considered a myth until they run into him. Really made this memorable for me. Plus Flash being the mature one between him and Green Lantern is nice.
Flash and Green Lantern, no matter what iteration, have always been close friends. In New 52 (which this is based upon), they worked several cases together. Barry has always been more mature than Hal.
wally is the funny one not barry so the one in justice league show is wally and the serious one is barry. its why if they wanted ezra flash to be funny they should of made him wally. but i guess they wanted to make him how tom holland spiderman was in the mcu
Fried Miracle How is that. Since his parents got killed he’s honed his mind and body to the peak of perfection. So much so that he’s right below guys like Captain America. He’s basically what Iron Man told Captain America that he is. A genius billionaire playboy philanthropist. The only difference is he uses every fear.
@@kenb2671 Batman isn't below Cap and he sure as hell shouldn't be compared to Iron Man. The only similarly between the 2 is that they're rich. Iron Man was only relevant till the movies and before then most people didn't know who he was. Even Reed Richards and Silver Surfer were more popular than him and literally no one knows who they are now. And Batman is literally the most iconic superhero ever. He didn't need the movies to become popular and at this point Batman is DC's mascot. If you're gonna compare Bats to a Marvel hero, do Spidey. Spidey is at least very close to Bats popularity and iconicness. And if you're talking about a fight, Bats would solve the whole thing through words. Bats stopped a fight between him and Cap just by saying they're both heroes fighting for the same goal and who ever put them against each other was the wrong person here (or something like that. I don't entirely remember). And if they did fight, Bats would lose a battle maybe but end up victorious at the end of the war because of his ability to spot people's weakness or flaws fairly easily.
@@Tyrik73 the Metal versions of the Justice League members have an anti-hero mood on them, except for Batman. Like somehow everyone believes that torturing or killing is a fair choice to kill a villain. But Batman still is the same, until everything and everyone counters him, almost to the point of killing him, and the only choice to stop or act, is by converting in the Nemesis of all the heroes, killing everyone in the act.
clarkeboy12345 I know this comment is 9 months old but I just wanna say that some of the dialogue in this movie is taken straight from the New 52 Justice League comic.
Yes. And I am sure it doesn't matter how you say it. For example, in an episode of "Batman, The brave and the bold" (or something like that), a mad scientist (whos name i forgot) steals Black Adams powers, which are exactly the same to Captain Marvel. Batman tricks this scientist, by saying that he may have the power of Black Adam, but that he would never be as strong as the allpowerfull wizard Shamaz. That being kind of his weakness, the scientist corrects Batman and therefore, accidently says Shazam and deactivates his powers. Which means that the responsibles apparently didn't pay much attention at this point.
Help me out. I know all of these films including flashpoint are all connected, but I thought when flash returned from flashpoint he gave Batman his father's letter. Why don't they know each other here?
I love how shazam makes such a majestic appearance in this scene that shows both power and mysteriousness. Too bad this like the only time this happens.
this movie is the first time batman had met superman or any other alien for that matter, He has no knowledge of alien life, darkseid, green lanterns yet. so it makes sense
@@bigdipper8455 no, I don’t think that’s it. There are plenty of occasions across different shows where Shazam and other characters who share his powers are tricked into saying the word of power when they didn’t intend to turn back, but they still do.
It seems in this movie that Flash already has an established reputation as a hero, and Batman respects him in that way ("...tight and efficient work..."). In the JL film, it's not explained how established Flash is, but my guess is barely, at least judging from Whedon's reshoots: He says he's never done battle, though many from Flash's Rogues would require battle in some form. He also implies he's never saved anyone's life, which is ridiculous because he potentially saved the life of that guy held at gunpoint from Lex's archived footage, but more importantly, this must mean he's a very early hero, as clearly any established Flash would have saved a number of lives by now. He also wasn't working at CCPD until the end of the film, and possibly was just in and out of other jobs without much seriousness. Altogether, I can see why Batman would be giving Flash orders, because it seems like Barry has a long way to go still in terms of heroic development, advancing his powers, becoming a more strategic fighter, etc. Furthermore, Batman is always known to give orders. He's usually the master strategist the team looks to for commands. Batman is also known to push his orders past the limits and piss people off this way, usually only to be reconciled later when it seems Bruce had some positive intent in doing so. Tossing the name of Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman's face is a great example of this from the JL movie. I'm a bit more curious as to how Snyder originally intended the film to play out, there was a nice Reddit post summarizing the views from someone on the inside about how Snyder and Whedon both played out the film differently. The Flash may have been a bit more of an established hero under Snyder's version. If anything, he certainly already saved lives because he was supposed to save Iris's life in a scene or flashback of a car crash.
Well whats so bad? Flash in justice league is a rookie. He was use to fighting just small time criminals. He's gonna get his own movie where he will gain more experience and we'll probably see the flash more experience like this. It's only JL 1. They are United bearly. Getting to know each other. Give it time.
This Flash is the same age as Green Lantern is Barry Allen and not the younger Wally West and is already an established hero in Central City. That’s why Batman knows how he works and he respects him for it. The only one that he doesn’t respect is Hal. Because both he and Hal are strong willed and confident in their abilities. It takes a string will to operate a Green Lantern ring.
I like how Flash, treats GL as that awkward friend and Supes like a dude, whoa bro I can vouch for that... But fanboys and loses it for a sec over a man in a batsuit.
The voice acting has amazing moments that I just love. 0:44 "Oh yeah, and that's Batman." "Batman's real?!" "Yeah he's over there." "Wait, what!?" 3:18 "Well for one thing, the water's on fire."
@MLBB_Eboade in the new 52 comics wasn't superman and wonder woman a thing at first and fans got mad? So they had superman go back to lois? Correct me if I'm wrong.
"Well, for one thing: the water's on fire." Whoever wrote this line, needs a raise. It was both serious but also hilarious with the previous "that fits" XD
EnderHeart5911 they probably will add him in there since there will be his movie green lantern corp in 2020 feature Hal Jordan and John Steward. But i think they will add him JL 2 because in the original snyder plan the scrip was intended that during a night time batman saw a green light then kilowog and another green lantern approached him and talk with him about hal but they cut that script
I tried editting their eyes, but its in the best position they can be, because when i editted it they look like idiot, or looking away from the hero they are talking, like wonder woman when talking to shazam, she looks like she is looking behind shazam and not at shazam..... Just sayin'
The Kryptonian well it’s true cyborg has the necessary tools and abilities to keep up with Superman just as easily as batman can keep up with him for one the motherbox armor possesses a high amount of kryptonite and cyborg was able to dodge and hit flash two cyborg knocked mammoth, and cyborg superman out cold those two are quite comparable to superman and in this situation superman has no full knowledge of what cyborg is capable of for Christ sake darkseid stated it himself cyborg is the ultimate weapon he’s able to pass boomtubes to remnants of kryptonite, black holes as seen in apokalips war and the strength of the motherbox armor far surpasses that of the kryptonian war suit which was able to keep up with superman.
GL " Don't bother he is a total tool" Batmam be like :- I know how, where and when to use each one of them, including my biggest weapon : WISDOM and WEALTH, on the other hand you don't even know how to use the only tool you've got, that ring
Shazam's intro here is hard AF, the hovering with the hood on & the expression on his face with the lighting around his body & the thunder in the background.... Shazam looks like he's most powerful in the MAU coming to save everyone inculding all heroes.
I’m with you on this brother! The art style is great! This is what the DCEU should’ve, with a younger Batman, have solo films for everyone and do something like this
Wait. Flash didn’t even know Batman was apparently real here... but in apokolips war he remembered everything about the flashpoint paradox which obviously had Batman...
The only thing that I could take from this is that: Barry went to the past, saved his mom, unsaved his mom and came back at some point after Justice League War. I mean, when he stopped himself from saving his mother and created the DCAU's animated universe New 52, he lived normally with the changes without noticing them until the point when he talks to Bats that he screwed things up and unscrewed them. (like, if it follows the comics, it wasn't his fault anyways)
I don't think so! Batman was always more of a part timer in the Justice League as he once said himself. Besides he's always about justice coming from the darkness and having trust issues with almost everyone and that is not a great example of a perfect leader🙄
