Justin said before the song and on twitter that he never sang this song live and for the first time performed this song live in Taipei, Taiwan on May 15, 2011.

this is the most amazing thing i have ever seen. you can just see the emotion, and how much feeling he is putting into this song by looking at him. his deeper voice complements the song so well, and it just shows us how much he's grown up. ive never seen any accoustic performance as great as this in my life. justin - you are amazing

omfg. this is the reason why i love him. not his looks, or his personality, or even his love life, but HIS VOICE. THAT is what won me over four years ago, when i first watched his videos, and i will continue to love him because of that reason. the rest is just a bonus.

This reminds me so much of Justin in the beginning of his carreer, he has changed but still stays true to himself and what he has always been. It's just great to see he's come so far in such a short period! He's always been there for us nomatter what, even now he's there and he's sick! He is just such a wonderful person, a human who cares about other people and who never wants to let us down. im so proud to say. that i have been a belieber for 2 years now. i watched him grow, make mistakes and then fix them. its like he is making a circle again. singing this song again. shows me how much he has come, and how far he can go into the future. because in another two years we will be able to come back and see how much more he has grown. #PROUDBELIEBER

Go to his channel and read the decription below the video of him performing it for the first time, there's this line: "stay tuned to follow the adventures of Justin through this journey. " Watching him now, only 3 years later, performing in front of thousands of ppl, you can really see how beautifuly he's grown up-as a musician and as a person.
