Ed Sheeran was actually drunk with his friends and then he got an email from Justin Bieber, asking if he had any idea for a new song, and since Ed Sheeran was drunk he accidentally sent the song love yourself. And then the next morning when Ed Sheeran saw his emails he saw that he had sent the song love yourself and turned out to be a big hit.
@@AbhiNeha-oj7rgI heard Ed wrote it about an ex and it was to close to home that he couldnt see himself recording it. Also with all the love songs he released at first this wouldnt have jived on the album I feel. Bieber for sure made it a hit though.
@Random1234-u8q not accidentally, coz 1st in credits we can see Ed's name clearly mentioned 2nd if you listen carefully you can hear Ed's voice at the chorus it's faint but yeah you can hear it!
Ed Sheeran wrote this song. Justing only did some small contributions with the chorus, but the main author is Ed Sheeran and it was when he was dating Ellie Goulding who wouldn’t admit they were dating and hid the relationship as if she was ashamed of dating him.
