+John Manoochehri I'm sorry, but I think you went a little overboard with your praise. Howard Stern's show is edgy. Real Time with Bill Maher and the old Daily Show with Jon Stewart are pretty edgy. The Late Late show with James Corden....uhhhh....yah...not so edgy. Even Andy Cohen's late night show where he often gets's really cheeky and naughty with his guests is more "edgy". I also fail to see how James' show is more wacky than the other late night shows. And, I fail to see how the other late night shows are more safe than his. Corden's show isn't bad....but it's not ALL that either. I think he still has a ways to go as far as setting himself apart from the other late night shows. A lot of what he does is very similar to Fallon and Conan....especially Fallon who also has a large young following. The whole carpool karaoke thing can be entertaining, but Fallon has been doing wacky sing-a-long bits with his guests for years.....the only difference with carpool karaoke that I can see is that it's done in a car. When Corden does those Take A Break bits, that almost exactly reminds me of Conan's remotes. Also, I've seen plenty of instances where it seems like James is overly fawning over some of his guests. They all do it. Corden is doing a good job of steadily growing his RU-vid presence where you can see a lot of his countrymen showing him support many of whom unfortunately can't view his show in it's entirety.....but Fallon is still television ratings king in late night with a bigger online following. I'm not saying James Corden hasn't done a good job so far, buy he hasn't exactly set himself apart from the other shows by a mile yet either.

Watching interviews with comedians where questions and comments are raised about these horrible situations, many, that I have heard, say something about how they believe that comedy about these horrible subjects not only helps people deal with them, but also, can help to bring about serious conversations elsewhere, and change.
