Using the “stop beat” will clear up the articulation & add the ‘briskness’ mentioned. You ‘could’ conduct the entire movement w/ just your right hand. What ‘problem solutions’ had you prepared to try-out w/ the ensemble? With these in mind you’ll have good answers to the question “What went well?” You have a nice way about you - I’d enjoy playing in your groups. Be sure to get feedback from the players afterwards.
