Prediction.. JJ finishes as WR10. Looking at the PPG elite receivers had with bad QB play like Chase after Burrow went down, G Willy and the worst QB in the league and Davante Adams situation. Range WR10-12 feels right, I’ll lean WR10 because he is so good.

This isn’t about JJ. This all comes down to Darnold and the ability to get WRs the ball and do you trust KOC to pivot if things aren’t going well. I trust KOC as an offensive mind and he went out of his way to grab Darnold early in FA. If JJ plays every game what is his floor if the QB room ends up being garbage? Is it worse than the Jets situation last year? Wilson had a 95/1042/3 line. JJ is light years ahead of Wilson. Floor is closer to 100/1300/5

I got a lot of mid first JJ prior to McCarthy news and loved it , easily took him over Chase who is always inflated but right now even chase is holding in - Burrow himself has huge injury risk alone with a rare hand / wrist problem he’s recovering from; and Chase hasn’t even accomplished what his brother JJettas has. But even I have gotten even more gun shy about him post McCarthy meniscus tear and I’m not sure why , because nothing really super changed about his situation - just kinda capped upside even more. I just already felt bad about the Vikings offense possibly falling off cliff , but JJ has locked in volume . I have taken Amonra at 4 multiple times recently - Lions offense just has most upside to me even over bengals and Vikings - amonra will get his - they play 80% of games inside this year. But I don’t think any of chase , el jeffe, sun god, or even ajb aka swole Batman are going to let you down. Here’s my only argument - other than age and overall even worse morale , what’s really different about Davante Adams situation and Jefferson’s this year , as far as ceiling and floor? Because Davante is falling into 3rd round now and is a gross pick. But Jefferson is QB PROOF? Even Davante got 16-20 target games last year and no one wants him lol

My exposure was very low on him but I’m actually buying more now. My bold prediction is that he’ll lead the league in receiving. We’ll see how it goes.

Hearing a lot of people claim JJ is QB proof. Cousins did improve after joining Minn, but it would take an astronomical leap for Darnold to come close to what Cousins was doing in his pre-Minn day much less his post Minn days. There is zero chance he suddenly turns into a guy who can throw for 4200+ yards and 32 TDs and if he cant someone's production is going to drop. AJ Brown is a safe bet for 1400+ yards and I'm guessing the TDs climb back to the 10-12 range given how narrow that target tree is. I cant see Jefferson doing better than that with Darnold at QB, but even if he does the question is how much? What is the top of the bell curve with Darnold at QB? And to me the risk is not worth the reward with Jefferson. Maybe I'm wrong, but I dont see it burning me where Jefferson has some kind of 2K/16 season.
