you forget about Darius Slay earlier this year😭 matched up against Jefferson, Jefferson had 6 targets, Slay picked off 2 of the 6 and almost picked off another 3, then broke up the last. slay allowed a 0.0 passer rating matched up against Jefferson.

Look at the Cbs patriots have now doing just fine without Gilmore, there younger and cheaper. For some reason patriots can sign anybody on defense and get the most out of them but when they leave they don't do as good. Gilmore,Kyle van Noy, Judon wasn't this good, jc Jackson was having a terrible season before injury, jabril peppers wasn't this good. Man said bill is cheap like the defense is bad without Gilmore 😂😂

No corner on the team is close to that level. They might be showing promise... but they are also showing inexperience (ie... Jack Jones). No one on the team could hold Justin Jefferson in that game. No one on our time can hold Devante Adams... or Diggs in Buffalo. That's why a number 1 corner (alpha male) is very beneficial. We don't have that

Gilmore is still him, in the snaps they played man Gilmore had jettas on straps besides that TD. IMO he is a first ballot HOF, him and Pat Pete are the only true lockdown CBS since Revis, and their longevity helps their case for the HOF too

That hit at 5:50 is brutal. I can see Gilmore is trying to lead with his shoulder. Not necessarily dirty. But his helmet hit the bottom of JJ's facemask, in the air, with Gilmore off the ground too having "launched" at him... definitely a good penalty call. Not necessarily dirty by intention, but brutal-looking and a penalty by rule.

Gilmore is solid, but took a step back this year. And with turning 33 before this season starts, might see another step back this year for him. 🧐 We shall see.
Why? It’s clear he’s Kirk’s number 1, he got record setting receiving yards, and he is in the playoffs. What’s not to like? Kirk just threw 50+ passes for over 460 yards. He has it in him clearly, something just has to make him snap and he goes berserk.

@@Shiesty723 I meant, stats may not say Gilmore won… which he didn’t, but Gilmore held his own, and really played island for most of the game with no safety help.
Justin is one of those receivers where he's going to get in the endzone. What the coaches try to do is get mismatches which is why JJ got 123 total yds. There wasn't a single CB that locked down JJ. But you can make a case that Gillmore was among those who made JJ work for it.
I'm not a fan of either team so unbiased I've never seen a team get so many flags to bring them back and win a game! Insane way to go refs...also didn't inspire confidence in our Gilmore acquisition...he was good but burned alot
