Trackhouse became my go-to team at the start of the year, even though I’m not the biggest fan of Pitbull’s music, the team has shown themselves to be competitors week in and week out. Suarez has broken through (finally!) and Ross is running great almost every week. Another couple years, Trackhouse will be an absolute powerhouse
@Director_Orson_Krennic

And honestly, that's something the sport needs, is more super competitive teams. While I'm a die-hard Hendrick fan until I die, I still welcome more and more powerhouse teams rising up. Because it means that my favorite drivers have to work that much harder, show that much more skill and expertise to get a win, instead of just a coin flip on if it'll be Hendrick, Gibbs, or Penske claiming the dub that week. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing Hendrick dominance like last year, but I'd prefer a knock-down drag-out fight for every last thousandth of a second and have Hendrick just barely squeaked at the line instead of just a twenty-mile long margin of victory. And the more teams we have coming in and being super competitive, the more chances we have for a fight to win, which is better for everyone in my eyes

it's called paying your dues, which Ross has definitely done in his career. Anyone who can't see that is just being ignorant (willfully stupid). He doesn't have to be every person's favorite, but there should be an underlying respect for what this guy went through to get here. Unlike a Ty Gibbs or Austin Cindric who got the world on a silver platter... I even say Dale Jr payed dues. Sure he had his dad's resources AVAILABLE, but during his street stock/ late model phase, he wasn't in top equipment. His dad wasn't bankrolling his whole career with 100% certainty that he'd ever reach Cup...

NASCAR fans have been saying they want another driver like Dale Sr. since his passing. Yet, when a driver shows up that shows glimpses of Dale's driving style, aggression, getting under the skin of the other drivers, personality, etc., many of them complain way too much.
@King1614
@King1614 2 года назад
Ross took an unorthodox but the right approach to getting to the top. He spent time on shitty rides figured out nuances to tracks, understands getting the most out of a car, logged laps, and gets a good ride and makes the most of it. He’s the man, I want him to win, I want him to succeed. He’s rich for sure, but he’s good, he’s gritty, and just special. He’s the closest thing to a good ole southern boy driver we could ask for.

Ross Chastain is as close to the good old days of Nascar as we can get right now. There was a time when it wasn't about he doesn't respect me or my pronoun! There was a time when every driver in the field new that they needed to get to the pay window. Those greats opened the door, made Nascar what it was from the 1970's to the early 2000's. Speedways were sold out, it was amazing. Then the snowflakes show up riding the coattails of everyone before them. He doesn't respect me...your right, he's there to win! I'm not calling for a demolition derby at 200 mph, but racing is just that..racing. Ross Chastain is exactly what this sport needs! Look into Cale Yarborough, the Allison's, EARNHARDT and the rest. You'll find the answer is racing!

I've been saying that NASCAR needs these young guns to inject steam in the engine that will pave the way to races us fans want see and will want to keep coming back to. J marks and Ty Norris are monumental in Trackhouse’s speed & overall success and vibe of their team. JM is an owner that delegates and accepts ideas/advice. Unlike the witch that destroyed a championship caliber team. I hope JRM goes Cuo & Ty Norris will come help out Jr & Kelly get it started up and running as he has helped track house. I’m sure trackhouse would understand but also a chance Ty wants to stay & obviously jr would understand. Hell he probably has got the right folks and thinks he’d disrupt something good for Ty if he even asked. But I’m positive Ty, Kelley & Dale could build a badass team. Gragson could drive one & Maybe a Vet drive the other for a year or two. Harvick, Truex, hell Kyle Busch maybe? Lol until they want to put Berry or Mayer in. There’s many ifs and wishes but it’d be amazing to see JRM go cup racing. I just wonder would their #’s be 88 & 33? Maybe 25? Who knows but that’d be exciting. Maybe coax 8 from Richard. God Theresa really has ruined so many cool things that could have or can take place. With the TM* crap of the fonts & anything DEI related. Smh.

Dale I would really love to hear your opinion of the continued talking points on Ross. So much of the continued complaints are often a simple matter of hard racing and if it was a different driver than the 1, then the media and others wouldn’t have the same opinion, instead they would call it for what it really is instead of continuing to stir the pot and create more negative energy regarding Ross. Here’s the problem: We live in a different society these days where a good majority of people take everything they hear for face value, and will believe the most absurd things; despite what they witness with their own eyes, their own personal experience, or what their intuition tells them. They follow the masses instead of thinking for themselves. And because of this, the media has a responsibility to not just call a race, but to set their own personal opinions aside, and be fair to all drivers, teams, etc. They have an opportunity here to help a rivalry disappear by simply not pushing that talking point all the time. Rather it be while they are calling the race, or interviewing drivers. The constant reminder or suggestion that Ross could be at fault or has a history, only suggests that nothing has changed and that others should be upset with Ross for their misfortunes. The media constantly pushing the talking points that surround Ross in this way are creating a level of hatefulness and divide among the drivers, teams, and fans! And people (fans) are getting so sick and tired of hearing about this again and again! This doesn’t help the situation at all. In a sense, it’s defamation to jump to conclusions and automatically accuse the person who has been the focus of ever one’s attention, rather than to go back and call it for what it really is!! If the facts show that Ross was really at fault or blatantly turned right into someone to wreck them, etc,; then good, he needs to be called out for it, just like anyone else! But so much of it, example: Kansas with Noah, is simple racing incidents that are blown out of proportion simply because the 1 was involved. Yes the sport needs rivalry, but it doesn’t need negative energy that triggers people to go against another when many of the accusations aren’t justified, and it’s clearly the opinion of another that is not speaking truth for what it really is! The worse case scenario: One of these days, it’s going to affect a driver in a very negative way who doesn’t have the strength to deal with that level of pressure and criticism and they will either quick doing what they love or worse! I’m sure you well know, just how hard it is anyway, without all that hanging over your head. And the media doesn’t want a situation like that to happen in order for them to learn a lesson.

Dude points out the truth, the big dawgs don't want a new dawg in the yard and he's so aggressive it's pissing people off. But it's how you make a name in this sport, literally the icon of the sport is called "The Intimidator" this boo hoo bs from Hamlin is bish made and the dude complains like the old man he is...rubbings racing and this new age bs or big corp, silver spoon feed drivers sucks, Ross is what this sport needs. Cookie cutter bs is trash.

I haven't watched many races since the drivers started disrespecting Ross. They don't want to race. They just want to put on a touch me not show. The older entitled drivers and the silver spooners have ruined racing!

Genny can do the exact same thing, and he has many times before, and that is O.K. But let it happen to him and he cryes like a baby. I will be glad when he (and a few others) are gone from the sport.

Fine line between aggressive and dirty driving. If your driver does it it's aggressive, done to your driver, it is dirty.

Smashing a watermelon and batting at a flowery taco is a GIMIC and embarrassing to watch. Doing a backflip off of the side of a car and driving with the steering wheel on the roof are skills and shows talent. Gimics usually don't last long and become boring over a short period of time. I hope that these two grow up soon . Respectability rules.

I mean it's their signature celebration like the polish victory lap is for kulwicki and the backflip for edwards

@@xavierjuno4572 A back flip takes talent, smashing a watermelon is childish. These are supposedly adults. And by the way, Polish people are very intelligent , not like the jokesters would have you to think.

He likely doesn't care how it comes across and probably would even agree with you that smashing a watermelon is a "gimmick". He does it to promote it and to get people to talk about, which is exactly what you just did. Congrats... By the way, doing a burnout is also one of the most overused and uninteresting "gimmick" in NASCAR. I think it was overdone after the first year, or so, of it regularly being done back about 15 us years ago. Just my opinion though..
