This was around the time that the pop crap was starting to take over. They played the heck out of this song when it came out though. I still can't believe its been 8 years since this song came out. I remember it like it was just the other day.
I live in a small town in West Virginia and grew up off a old dirt road 12 miles from the nearest hospital. It was awesome and now I still live in a small town but im only 3 miles from the nearest hospital.
I have lived in big cities but there is nothing like a small town where you can trust a neighbor with a hand shake and a nod. Great song Justin keep what's important in your heart. God Bless Son
This song still hits home. If you live in the city you will never understand what it is like to live in a small town. I love how everyone knows everyone in a small town. I also love how every one mostly drives trucks, and then you go to a big city and your the only truck around. I love this song so so much ❤️❤️❤️
L hate where I'm living no have support people a city n brother sold country retreat cant move as daughter here n grandson . An hour to orther daughters n 3 grandchildren grandchildren . One million to move there . Mines worth 700 ths but too much stuff so just go aw a y in grey no mad seasons on my own hate it.
I mean, country pop dominating "real country" has happened 3 times: 70s with John Denver (the presenter literally burned the envelope when Denver won the entertainer of the year award) , 90s with Shania Twain, and now with T swizzle and Bro country.
I am not an us citizen, I am not a christian but I am a person that lives in a smal town in the netherlands. I love the nature here, I love knowing so many of the people I see when walking around. I loved growing up here with everybody in cycling distance. A small town is the best place to grow up!!!!
Why can't life be as simple as it is in these country music videos? 😂😂😂 Hard to believe it's been 13 years since this song was released. This will take you back to simpler times and bring a smile to anyone's face. 😁
I've been in mine for 14 years I just turned 16 I've seen some stuff I shouldn't but it's all because my school doesn't do there job I have autism and ADHD we moved back from Texas about a year ago there transferred my paperwork to the other school and what they did was trash them my principal lied to me and my parents not once not twice but over 5 times and you expect me to go there a place that's not trustworthy. Hell no
Why can't country music be like this again 😭 I'm so sick of all the shit they put out the radio nowadays and call "country music" we need the real stuff back on the radio!
+Amber Hansen There's still a lot of great country music today. Like William Micheal Morgan, Mo Pitney Aaron Watson, Jon Pardi, Easton Corbin, Granger Smith, Jordan Rager.
Loving the music made by Justin Moore, I'm not from the USA I am from Wales in the UK. Always have his songs on my play list in the car and at home. 😀 🏴
I grew up in a small town in Poland but I can so relate to this song. I Think that it can be a good song for all of us who grow up or live in small towns all around the world. We have the same values, needs and dreams :)
I don't come from a farming family, but I grow up in a small town in Michigan, and I can relate to this song. Reminds you of the simple things in life. GOD BLESS USA.
@@ttvghostkillerl4084 yes. I've lived in a medium sized town ( we have 3 stoplights) but when I was like 3 my dad got half of my grandparents farm in his name. so I still have to live and go to school in town but any other time I'm at the farm either helping with stuff or riding my four wheeler with my buddies. occasionally I'll take my town friends up there and they usually like It but i have a few that dont
This song was played at my daughter’s graduation on Friday. I never heard it until then. I moved to SmallTown USA about 20 years ago. One of the best things I ever did in my life. I’m not sure if she heard the song playing, but the lyrics really sunk in with me. I grew up in the city when I was her age, but there is something so pure and so great about living in SmallTown USA.
I love this song. Justin is a relative newcomer but he sings country like he's been around forever. He has that classic country voice and sound. And there ain't much of it coming out of Nashville these days........
This song irradiates «home warmth». Never been in USA nor in any of it's towns (small or lage) but it still gives me a feeling of nostaligia for some reason.
This song almost brought tears from my eyes. I am from Redfield, Arkansas and feel the same way about the people in my town.. Of course we used to play Prattsville and Poyen in basketball back when we had a junior high here. . You are doing great on the Buzz., Good Luck Justin!!!!!
He keeps the roots in country music. Not like the others who turn straight to pop country to "appease" the pop and rap group for cash. Him and a few others still keep it original. It doesn't get much better than that!
It’s simple! If it’s 100% country music with a pop influenced beat, it’s country. If it’s a pop song with a country influenced sound that makes it sound like it’s country music, but it really isn’t, then it’s not country music
That's exactly how I feel about the beautiful small town of Walnut Cove, NC!!!! To me it's heaven on earth. Been a fan of Justin Moore since this song came out and he just gets better and better each album!!!! Congrats on your 12th #1 hit along side Priscilla Block!! Yall killed it!
I was born in another land, i was born in Uruguay, in a city where nobody has work ethic, or even respect for the other people. but now, i live in a small tennessee town thanks to my mother that moved here 4 years ago. ALTHOUGH, I CAN SAY, I'M FROM A SMALL, GOOD OLD SMALL CITY IN THE USA. GOD BELSS AMERICA, for the thing that now i have, that now i can do, for the liberty that has been gaven to me when the US. consul said, here's yor visa, and when the officer in the air port said, "welcome to the USA"!!!! THANKS!
we both do great our country, the people that is born here and the one that choose o be here. and after all, USA was founded by British descendent people living in the colonies
Welcome to the USA Frederico! Glad you're here and enjoying the small town life!:) Remember that the opportunities here are endless. Work hard and you'll have a great pay off! God bless:)
Federico, me alegro mucho de que estés feliz, pero me parece una exageración lo que mencionaste de tu lugar de nacimiento, podría saber de dónde sos? Saludos desde San Jose, Uruguay.
Love my small town of Atchison,Kansas. It’s the most haunted town in Kansas. It’s also Amelia Earhart the pilot’s hometown and is known for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe railroad
Just came from my second trip in the USA, As a tourist i decided to explore small towns, in my opinion there’s much interesting things and a lot of good people! i think that country songs makes me feel like i were living there in a small town, i met good friends there, and for the first time i felt alive in years, this place seems like my home, i felt like in my hometown, i’ll keeping visiting this land and making new friends, and always listening to country music, drinking my beer and seeing my American flag that i bought on homedepot, and always remembering good times i had there. I can’t imagine how is living in a small town in USA… Greetings of your Latino friend! 🇧🇷🇺🇸
Here's why I love country music more than any other genre: Pop is upbeat, rock is fierce, rap is....well, rap, blues is slow, classical is elegant, but country? Country can be fast, it can be slow, it can be romantic, it can be wild, it can be fun, it can be so many different things. That's something most other genres of music can't do.
This is so my hometown! Marion, Texas. Only 1000-1200 people, and we were raised the country lifestyle. Miss everyday I am away, but one day I will be back.
