I don't have anything against Justin Timberlake but I have a hard time feeling sorry for him. He's an adult and should have planned ahead if he knew he was going to drink. Like he could have had a driver take him. He can afford one. Or even a friend or an Uber . Common sense. He should have said I made a mistake and never drive if you have been drinking. No bs and an apology. Because he was putting himself and others in danger driving drunk. I hope it's a lesson learned for him .

Broke his silence and missed a teachable moment as a celebrity who could use his platform to say "Don't drink and drive. And don't get all drugged up and get behind the wheel like I did!" He could have injured or killed himself or another person or persons. He should be thanking law enforcement for getting him off the road! Justin Timberlake, we do love you. its a crime sir or mdame and if u think about it yes its common but against the law to drink and drive and its also up there in a category of earth shattering events ,victims lose loved ones fyi to stupid vehicular homicides ...have u seen in news about woman who was cali resident who was high on valium and alcohol and killed 2 lil boys in a cross walk and attmted rather did drive off but was caught thank goodness ..... in 2-019 or 202o!!! so yeah it is earth shattering,,the gravity of loss of these 2 parents and the grief overshadows ur minimizing... his jt wrong doing and law breaking

Here is a thought and it is real life... As someone myself who drove under the influence in my early 20s and caused minor damage to my own property and other people's property, and was fortunate that I was never caught or got into an accident with another motorist, he should look at it in a way where if he wasn't stopped and hauled in, that DUI couldn't have been the least of his worries. You can injure or kill yourself or other people which can end his career. That is the realization with the aftermath of a DUI accident. No one wants to go to jail, but the way DUI's that are wrapped around a devastating accident are handled, especially here in Texas (Of all places, you don't want a DUI here), he should just take the L and be a hero to his fan base and tell them that it could have been worse if he wasn't stopped as he was drunk driving.

He shouldn’t have to justify everything. We don’t know what is happening behind closed doors. He addressed it the best he could. Hopefully he learned his lesson. I’m not a fan of him personally but this is getting too much .

That’s right- he could’ve kept his mouth shut and not had to “justify” anything. Bottom line- there is no “justifying” driving while under the influence at any time & with the resources Mr Timberlake has there was certainly no reason for him to have landed himself in this situation.

To be fair, his trouble dividing attention could be due to the fact that he has adhd which means they have a hard time regulating attention. This is why law enforcement needs to be trained in all different physical and cognitive conditions and how to interact with them and what they are capable of and not capable of

Well if you can't regulate yourself long enough to stop at a red light, or to stay in your lane, then people with adhd should not drive. If you can't perform the functions of driving then you should not be driving. Wouldn't you agree?

This is 💯% false and an insult to those of us with ADHD. Is his ADHD also the reason he lied about only having 1 martini?? Aside from throwing an ADHD diagnosis out there in ONE interview, JT has said nothing else about having ADHD or how it affects his life. He has never stated whether this is a true medical diagnosis or a self made one. Certainly, he is still able to lead a productive life & certainly he had the resources to arrange for a ride home that night. I have no clue what “dividing attention” or “regulating attention” even mean let alone how they are relevant here but as someone with ADHD I can tell you with certainty that failing to stop at red lights and failing to stay in your lane are NOT issues associated with ADHD, they are however, common amongst people under the influence & bad drivers in general. Yes, individuals with ADHD can be at higher risk for being involved in minor fender benders due to their inattentiveness but they do not violate basic traffic laws and blame it on their disorder!
