I love Justin, this is an incredible song, however I would love to hear him take ownership of this song. its not a happy gospel type of song this is a painful song and should be sung with a little hurt and anger/regret. hope I don't offend anyone this is just my opinion, which isn't worth much!
Probably stick to the original version????? You def do not play an instrument. P.S this was composed/written in the style of a country classic BLUES riff, 3 chords in the whole song. You can incorporate whatever other instruments you want into it @ any time & the sound only gets better when you do. It's supposed to sound this way. LOL
