On this episode Prime Minister Justin Trudeau joins Nate to discuss the next election, successes and failures in governing, and what comes next. #cdnpoli #justintrudeau
He can ACTUALLY say that his kids may have a problem getting a mortgage or daycare!!!! I’m thinking his trust fund will survive a couple of generations! What hubris.
I feel like the Liberal MPs are so delusional. When Trudeau came to power, I was 18. I was tired of the way the world was. In hindsight, the change was terrible. I figured JT was going to be a great, young option. However, you made a conservative out of me. I will never bat another eye at the Liberal party. Justin does not know what Canadians want. You talk about Climate change. I live in Northern BC. I have been surrounded by forest fires for the last few years. Would you like to know what the liberals have done... Not a fucking thing. We have had more support from local vac truck/tanker companies, and volunteers. You charge BC residents carbon tax, and we receive $0 back. We are on the brink of WW3, and civil unrest. I think it's time Justin. If you love Canadians, call an election. If Canada loves you, you'll be back.
Meanwhile when Trump comes onto a podcast it gets millions of views. Trudeau is a disappointment, I feel sorry for all my Canadian brothers and sisters that havent moved to the US yet.
See if you can quell the gag reflex five minutes in while Trudeau talks about himself. Not sure what universe he lives in. No one else in Canada talks about him that way.
Only heard of this from a clip on another channel. That one had 21k views in 5 hours, this one has 2126 views in 18 hours. If the PM really wanted to "get out there" and "do these kinds of interviews" maybe he should have them with people in the space that are actually being listened to instead of shilling with one of his party members for the softest interview since the cloud met the cottonball.

2 Liberals walk into a bar and we get this video. Congrats! You get this comment and 1 view from me, even though I could only manage 4+mins of this torture.
Liberal MP interviews the liberal PM. First time ever seeing this channel its a shame this is my first view. I expect this to be THE softball interview of softball interviews.
28:00 to start this part saying all the good he did for the youth bringing them into help govern only to say he regrets not going through with electoral reform so he could possibly win. You had so so long to try anything and you di nothing.
What an impartial interview. LOL. Beaches-East York? Hmmm. Have the constituents come to their senses yet? I'm dropping Canada like a bad habit - as soon as my degree is done.
Why does trudeau think it is more organic if the poll swing is in an election season? It should be the opposite, I would think. Organic means unmannaged, right? 23:00
At the 1:52 mark Trudeau says “if we don’t make space for real conversations, then ……” right there is his flaw….he doesn’t connect verbally with Canadians at all. He ignores his own country. He doesn’t listen to what Canadians are really saying, he doesn’t show empathy, he doesn’t have any real conversations, he doesn’t answer any questions over 9 years but only grabs women’s phones to prop himself for a photo shoot with them and then smugly smiles at everyone with a hand wave and then he wonders why his ratings are dropping. He’s not in touch or in tune with Canadians across the board. He’s arrogant, narcissistic, condescending and all about himself only. And not only that, he the ethically violated many rules of law, embezzled millions of dollars from Canadians, has zero understanding of maths to run a country properly, obsessed with the climate change mantra ….but just wants to be the kid running the show. Pathetic excuse of a leader!
I appreciate the long form conversation that Trudeau has often avoided. I would like to see him with someone other than a liberal MP. I enjoyed the opinions and discussions. After listening I am of the belief that both these gentlemen need to be voted out. They are disconnected from anything outside of their political views. I am not a believer in their policy or decisions on climate change, the economy. And most of all I do not believe they act in the interest of Canadians. They act in the interests in people who share their worldview. And they discredit anyone who disagrees with them. I do not believe we can trust them with our money. And this interview comes across as entitled and elitist. They appear to be talking down to Canadians. I am not a supporter of Pierre or the conservatives but I do see how their messaging is leading to a surge in the polls. Power corrupts and the these guys have abused power and influence for too long long. We need to get them out of power in my opinion
Should have asked him about his ties to China or why did he quite his drama teaching job early and what was the hush money his "trudeau foundation" paid to his student's family all about.
Less than 800 subscribers, yet the prime minister says he needs to go where people are to spread his message ... Absolutely insane. What a total BS interview. What was the arrangement? You go easy and you get him? Hoping to increase your subscribers? You know it's authenticity that builds careers on RU-vid, right? What a joke 🤦🏻.
It wasn't a broken promise so let's not use that trope. The majority of Canadians are not interested in it. We do not want unqualified candidates getting into our government, and what I mean by unqualified is anyone whose personal interests are in conflict with the oath to serve. The majority of Canadians want to get back to our good governance where all parties elected serve the mandate of the lead party.
Gotta be honest. As somebody that voted JT 2015, and would never consider even thinking bout it now. If he did more of These types of interviews and podcasts I think we would start gaining traction. It’s too bad he would never do a conservative show like this cause he would look silly. But every now and then his charm pulls me back in a bit but his record proceeds him
Well seeing as the country is collapsing and the UN report found Canada being a modern day slave state. I don't think any amount of shill podcasts could save him.
It's tough to go somewhere you'd be forced to debate when you have absolutely no coherent arguments based in anything resembling reality to defend your positions. I wouldn't go on a conservative show either if I was him.
I've travelled widely and one thing I've observed is that Canadians don't truly realize how good they have it. And this includes having a leader who is interested in curbing climate change, prioritizing human rights, and speaking eloquently. Currently I don't see another party leader who compares.
A lot of bots here in this post, we know we have the best PM with Justin Trudeau. Canadian are lucky to have him govern Canada. He got us through the worst pandemic in in centuries and Canada is strong because of him and his great team. Thank you PM Trudeau and Liberal team.
@AnitaLandry-c9m Nice bot. You forgot to change the assigned values behind -. It happens when an account has been made but has no activities. Meaning in the past year, your account didn't watch anything on RU-vid but has only recently been activated to post on this channel.
Trudeau is really hated in Canada. As current poll stands: Conservatives is at 44% of popular vote, NDP is at 22%, Libs is at 21%, Bloc at 8%, Green at 4%, Peoples at 1%.
@@cabbagedestroyer1693 Anita calls a respected company's poll "misinformation." What a telling word choice. Under C-63, "misinformation" will be punishable up to life in prison. For Anita and the Trudeau Liberals, 1984 is not a warning, but a description of their ideal society.
Question! Will the Prime Minister honour the Premier of Quebec REQUEST TO INCREASE PENSIONS FOR OLD PEOPLE? He says you have until the end of October. Thank you.
Despite not voing for him in my county, i have all the respect in the world for Justin Trudeau for not lowering his debate to the levels of others when it would be the easy way.
I felt so frustrated when Doug Ford undid all the good things for Ontario that the Ontario Liberals did. Especially all the work they did to address climate change.
The power prices were getting out of control. Ontario is spending $6 billion a year just to offset the price of energy. Wind and solar dont really make much sense in Ontario. Peak wind production happens at the same time that you have peak hydro production and then you pay high prices for wind power when the hydro is basically free.
Another home run interview. Well done! I especially like that you don't shy away from the difficult questions. I will say that even with an hour of discussion, I still come away thinking, "I would have liked to hear more on x topic (like climate change plan next steps and how to make meaningful inroads in making housing affordable), but that could be that there's just so much to cover. I look forward to your future podcasts; they're always fascinating and informative.
