Honored to be part of the student org in 2014 who hosted Dumbfoundead in Minnesota! Fun fact, the other guest was Steven Lim, who at the time quit his job to pursue RU-vid full time with much less of a following than today. It really was one of the only ways to connect with multiple different Asian communities and bring them together. Ever since then I still keep in contact with a lot of those people!

Great episode! I’m not Asian (allegedly 👀). But I grew up watching these guys, Wong Fu, Ryan, Arden Cho, Timothy, KevJumba and many many more. Dumb described himself as "Alternative". Reminds me of the podcast with Uncle Roger and he referred to us Asian Americans as our own thing, having our own separate identity which I thought was interesting. Liked the comparison of Asians across the country in various communities. I was one of those "low self-esteem" Asians in a rural area. 😅😮 Appreciated the mention of Shirley Temple too. Was always a big fan of hers.❤
