Juvie explained his flow he used on this track. He said he wanted to sound like a drunk OG he recorded like. Basically, its a concept track. He's playing a character. Exploring, not telling, a story.

This joint was written like an OG conversation. And “ha” is definitely a Louisiana thing. My cuz in Baton Rouge used to say “ha” after everything! And that was long before this came out. That’s why I dug the song so much, cause it reminded me of my cousin from Baton Rouge who used to talk like that.

He talking to everyone really in New Orleans but sorta to the South as a whole because we was all on reeboks/tees&girbuads, and gold pull outs/permenants. Plus everything related to hood shit outside of clothing. But run that song back uncensored and you’ll catch a few more lines. Top 10 or at the least 20 album of all time. 400 Degreez was a lane switcher. This the album that put Cash Money on the map.

He’s not talking shit to anybody. He’s just trynna let you know the shit that people from the Magnolia projects be on. Like when he said “you switched from Nike to Reebok”. People from the Magnolia projects wear Reeboks. Especially back in 98’. A Benz on “20s” or “dubz” was cool back in 98. And if you not from there, “you could get stuck and couldn’t leave”.
