And to think that these cameras cost about € 7,000 in 1992, that would be around € 12,000 today. I bought it for 45 €. The 26 pin plug for the output and power supply of HIROSE (www.hirose.com/?lang=en#) cost me 51 €!

Really outstanding! Your work is highly appreciated, not many others on youtube apply that much expertise in digitizing analog video sources. Please keep it up if possible to show what analog video actually could do if treated right😀

This is ridiculous! It looks incredible! Congratulations on such an elegant workflow. Is Vapor synth also QTGMC? I use that and now Topaz implemented dehaloing which further enhaces PAL and NTSC video, those pesky high contrast edges are reduced. The cool thing about PAL is that it's way sharper than NTSC and I feel there is a goldmine of TV shows and home videos that could greatly benefit from a concerted effort to restore it, deinterlace and upscale it properly. I've seen one too many documentaries that don't deinterlace historical video or even attempt to. Also seen some PAL tv shows that haven't been deinterlaced properly and I know they could look so much better.

Rauschunterdrückung, Farbkorrektur und Bearbeitung mit Davinci Resolve 16. Deinterlace und Upscale mit Vapoursynth, Rendering in h264 10Bit 4:2:2 cfr 14 mit FFmpeg, Upload auf YT.
