This gentleman's analysis is very superior I like him a lot. I disagree with the comment about Pirates having average players. Orlando Pirates is massive football institution should you find yourself lucky enough to play there it means you are quality. The problem we have is that most players who aren't regular starters will now be asked to play a more prominent role should we progress to the group stages and latter parts of the tournament and that I feel for people like Otladisa, Mako when he comes back, Shandu when he comes back, Ndlondlo, Gilberto, Xoki, will be a challenge that Jose Riveiro will need to fix. Either than that when playing in the champions league most important thing is a win, style of play is important but what's more important is the result.

How many times have they gone past the preliminary qualifiers to contend with the good teams in the last 5 years? Nobody expects Pirates to dominate the likes of TP Mazembe and Esperance because these teams compete in the CCL and have the experience of playing the tournament. Whether the leagues of TP Mazembe is strong or not, those guys are always competing in the CCL unlike Jwaneng. This is where Lindo's reasoning comes from. @thandumbane1963 Let's be honest our entire defense can't be compared to sundowns except for ndah. Midfielders, we can't look at an mbatha or tito against a Ribeiro or Allende. This is only sundowns if we move to the north of Africa....you can just imagine. I am Pirates fan ,but I see it tbh , and it's okay ,it works for us, we have our strengths.
