Dear friend, This technique is been developed by my guru ji and we students of him are trying to follow this technique but still we couldn't able to do so in a perfect way. He is not only a master of bansuri but in some other instruments too and he is inventor too and now he is playing 10 and 11 holes of bansuri. He played some swar from the thumb of his feet too and that's why he is holding his bansuri in vertical position.So you can guess what expertise he has in his field.

@siddhartha25327 Hi Siddhartha, Yes I am learning Bansuri from my Guru Sri Uma Kant Pathak ji. Of course he is a wonderful player of the Bansuri but it is also true that he don't want to come on the lime light. He is a reserved nature person and that's why he is not allowing me to record his Bansuri playing. I can hope that in the future I can able to record more videos and put on this site.

tooo gog sir..nic playing but i have diffrent type of it,,which you can play from starting of baansuri..not from side...please tell me how to play that type of baansuri
Once you perfect the Technic to play flute in this way then it is much easier way to play flute. More over my guru ji play some notes from the tow of his feet because his Basuri has total 11 holes (including blowing hole) so it is easy for him to play all the notes by this way.
He not playing for us or audience he is playing for god and himself and absorbed in himself , a thought for original composer of the song Sudhir Phadke ji
