That’s how it is, people tend to praise the person who sing the high part more. But you don’t have to said who you want to praise so.

you can just make your own positive comment about Haewon without the condescension toward other fans haha

Lily's voice is dominating because she sang in high pitch while Haewon sang in low register, which is better suit for her, although we all know Haewon is good with varying register. But her backup vocals really add some richness in harmony with Lily's vocal and that's what make them compatible vocalists, especially they both know how to experiment and explore with each others voices.

it’s sad because from a technical standpoint they’re about on the same level (lily might be slightly better but the difference is tiny) so it’s sad that people don’t praise haewon as much :/ i love both their voices so much and together they make such a great main vocal line, lily sounds more youthful and powerful while haewon sounds more rich and velvety. i love their voices together

ITZY was more like a dance-base group, so of-course that’s why LILY didn’t debut with them bcs the competition with trainees on JYPE was tough bcs of YEJI, RYUJIN, CHAERYEONG & YUNA who are dancing machine monsters!! Now this group is definitely heading as a vocal-base group as all the QUALIFYING COVERS has showcased their vocals, only JINNI has showcased BOTH dancing and singing for their individual covers so it’s really evident this will be a vocal-base group.
