Watched them a few weeks ago when they supported Ville Valo. I went to the concert with a friend not knowing what to expect. They were absolute show stealers. I definitely loved Svört Augu. The dark and gloomy bassline hooked me instantly.
I´ve waited for this evolution, the album is a big step in their band-history. Wonderful songwriting, instrumentation and voices. The girls are incredible! How can a little island produce so many exciting and different bands - its a miracle? Good luck from Germany!
Perhaps it’s a concentration os special people. It certainly is a more in tune with nature throughout history place where their ancestors have maintained a natural diet. Now i think they turned plant based though….. certainly their physique changed. But talent remains!
Such a good album! I highly recomment it to every Goth/Dark Wave lover!! And of course the beautiful Icelandic language is so poetic and enchanting!! Even though I don't understand it, I LOVE IT!! :D
The sirens are three and enchant all men with their melodious song. Anyone who hears their voice doesn't go back to his wife. Odysseus, who wanted to hear their song, first plugged the ears of his companions with wax and had his hands and feet tied to the mast of the ship. When they passed by the Sirens, who asked him to stop, Odysseus beat his head for their melodious song. Odysseus wanted to listen and signaled to his companions that they untied him, but instead they tied him even tighter and with many ropes.
the amount of people simping like hell over this band is weird. they're like middle range synthwavey stuff but cos there's some cherubic 4/10 goth girls who look like they might be underaged people are going crazy
