This is Aotearoa, The Land Of The Long White Cloud. Pakeha changed our name when they landed here and stole everything from us. But through JESUS CHRIST, we must forgive and reach out to bring peace and unity. GOD bless our beautiful land! Bless all people from every nation who live here. There will be no peace until we acknowledge and bow our knees to The PRINCE of PEACE our LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. ❤❤❤

Eh Maori don't have a Maori king only high ranking Chiefs like Taiopuru, Kaitahutahu Ariki who only governed a certain area and govern over a Ahupiri kaunihera, You have to be born of a Kings bloodline not handed on a plate by politicians who think Maori need a king. Secondly this Maori so called king was knighted . Guaranteed many Maori don't even know who he is or give too bobs who he is.
@lonz332
@lonz332 5 месяцев назад
Who are you?! Who are you to assume the Māori Monarch was created like that? First of all, It wasn’t handed on no plate by the white government. Wiremu Tamihana, along with a bunch of chiefs from the WHOLE NATION agreed to elect Potatau Te Wherowhero of Waikato, as Māori King. We are a non constitutional Monarchy, we don’t have any similarities with your white kingdoms as far as Tikanga (Tradition). Our people wanted a King/Queen so we could have a powerful influential person to bring us all together, despite the westerly ways positioning the Whenua. Get a grip! & a life, most Māori do know who Kingi Tuheitia is. And the ones that don’t probably live in the big cities & don’t really know that much, due to colonisation mind you. So it’s great we have a leader, a king, to bring us all together and to protect our culture. Thank you.

Eh keyboard warrior, Firstly, you failed to take 5 minutes to read the creation of the kingitanga movement. Secondly, you might have to be related to a royal bloodline to inherit the position, but you don't need to be king (or queen) to invade a Kingdom and claim the right to rule. If you are declared King by the people, you are declared King, or if you conquer and declare yourself King successfully with an iron fist, then you are still King. Thirdly, it is not true that all maori tribes agreed on the movement however a substantial amount did. Has turned out for the better. In fact, in my estimation, it would have been far more beneficial for the maori people to have created the movement in the beginning, not near the end.

@patsav6718 eh rubbish I know exactly how the movement started, any number of Chiefs were given that option, if you think Maori Monarchy was Tainui right, Wiremu Tamehana wouldn't have needed to travel the countryside looking for a king so fark your Bullshit ideology

A windscreen wiper (Commonwealth English) or windshield wiper (American English) is a device used to remove rain, snow, ice, washer fluid, water, or debris from a vehicle's front window. Almost all motor vehicles, including cars, trucks, buses, train locomotives, and watercraft with a cabin-and some aircraft-are equipped with one or more such wipers, which are usually a legal requirement. A wiper generally consists of a metal arm; one end pivots, and the other end has a long rubber blade attached to it. The arm is powered by a motor, often an electric motor, although pneumatic power is also used for some vehicles. The blade is swung back and forth over the glass, pushing water, other precipitation, or any other impediments to visibility from its surface. The speed is usually adjustable on vehicles made after 1969, with several continuous rates and often one or more intermittent settings. Most personal automobiles use two synchronized radial-type arms, while many commercial vehicles use one or more pantograph arms.

He didn't make the comment "no one had ever attended a coronation" He said "hands up those of you who have attended a coronation" and even though it was kind of a slip, it wasn't done with hate. You're all kiwis and you're representing the country together, I get the point and Maori should be recognised... but I'm not a fan of monarchies and believe that they're an unnecessary relic of the past. Shaming other people for mistakes is more disrespectful, I don't agree with Goff's politics, but he's worked hard to get where he is, and he's a genuine guy. You're picking on the wrong person.
@gooser2583
@gooser2583 Год назад
He was being sarcastic. Asking "hands up those of you who have attended a coronation", he was implying that of course no one had. Sure it wasn't done with hate, but it was disrespectful and classless. The Kīngitanga has played a significant role in NZs history, and deservers better from government reps.

@@gooser2583 yeah but that guy tuned up all the white boys in front of the camera, surely there’s a better way to do it. Monarchies are all outdated bullshit anyway, my 6th greats grandfather was Tawhiao and there was a reason he started it at the time, but now it’s just as pointless as the British monarchy, who needs it? Tainui didn’t share the money with their people anyway. I’m all for restoring the culture, but the way everyone is going about it, is only going to cause more tension between Māori and pakeha
