Good vid 👏🏻 K rd has cleaned up a lot. A lot less homeless. No street kids. No gangs. No street hustlers. No junkies. No predators. Looks pretty clean. Used to live and work down the Ponsonby end of Krd in the early nineties. Super seedy, but still interesting.

K road has become way more gentrified now than it was even 10 years ago when I first started hitting the nightlife there. It feels way more safer to be out at late at night nowadays there, and is always the last place standing in Auckland until eary hours of the morning. It used to be the red light district of Auckland but not so much nowadays. K road now is for the LGBTQ+, islanders fresh from the islands and strippers.

K road is a unfriendly boring place the bouncers are rude and nasty 😵

I think k.rd looks plain and boring now. It's too bright. I think it looks yuck. It looks nothing like it used to. How depressing.
