Thousands of young men prior to battle in the two not so great wars prayed en masse with their chosen preachers for deliverance, protection and safety only to be mercilessly killed, injured and mutilated by similar young men who, coincidentally had done the very same thing. Praying unfortunately has an incredibly high failure rate as history will confirm.
