"전세계 맥도날드 매장보다 많다" CNN, 한국 편의점 조명
Hello and welcome to Tuesday's edition of Issues and Insiders.
It's July 30th here in Korea.
I'm Min Sunhee.
Today we touch upon the latest hype over Korea's convenience stores.
For this I have Kwon Soa here in the studio.
Soa it's great to have you here.
1) Soa, let's begin with the gist of the CNN coverage of Korea's convenience stores.
2) And Soa, according to CNN, what sets Korea's convenience stores apart from its global counterparts?
3) Meanwhile, Soa, how are pundits explaining the popularity of convenience stores, also known as "PYEONUIJEOM" in Korean, among people here?
4) Staying with their popularity, Soa.
Social media platforms have been playing a pivotal part in promoting Korea's convenience stores beyond borders as reported by CNN, right?
UP NEXT we speak with a content creator based in Australia whose top clips are about Korea's convenience stores.
I have Jiny Maeng live on the line.
Jiny it's a pleasure.
5) Jiny, let's begin with details regarding your most-viewed content.
6) Jiny, how do you explain the online phenomenon surrounding Korea's convenience stores?
7) Jiny, imagine an Australian friend is planning a trip to Korea and has included a day at the convenience store.
What do you propose that she or he buy and do there to truly indulge in the K-convenience store experience?
8) Jiny, you've pointed out that the internet now appears over-saturated with clips about Korean convenience stores.
That being said, what do you suggest to seek to further promote these one-stop shops online?
All right Jiny thank you for your thoughts and time.
That was content creator Jiny with her take on the global interest in Korea's convenience stores also known as "pyeonuijeom" .
9) Soa, Korea's convenience stores have been working to expand their presence overseas in recent years.
What is the latest regarding this endeavor?
10) Soa, convenience stores here boast a number of unique products in hopes of attracting more customers.
Do tell us a bit about them.
11) And Soa, staying with items sold at Korea's convenience stores, what appear to have been some of the popular products last year?
All right.

These types of stores would be really useful for the homeless to steal from, if they were in America. The homeless are tired of just stealing chips and soda, they need more variety.

I won’t change my Bodegas for this. Bodegas have fresh handmade food and ice popsicle’s in the summer, fresh made coffee, ice coffee. I’m against pre-packed food. We have a lot of recall food with listeria.
