Prashant Neel's presentation screenplay wise is so engaging despite its cliches and that's why everyone loves it. It' s a proper commercial cinema but the narrative is so well- worked that it doesn't feel one bit like it

The last scene rangan is mentioning is one of the finest shots ever captured on indian screen ever.💥💥💥💥💥

You didn't mention about the end credits! Top notch cinematic experience, the only out of place plot in the movie was Rocky Reena romance. Maybe they rushed through the political narrative in the last 20 mins or so but the symbolism in the climax was damn good. Adheera could have been a lot more menacing.. he looks a bit underwhelming in action scenes. Rocky mouthing Kalashnikov in the post interval scene was the peak of his swag 😃

Finally, Rangan is excited. Hope there is KGF 3 🔥

No matter how awkward it looks when we listen to a movie critic......but if someone ask me to listen Baradwaj Rangan a whole day I will do that......... simply he is not a movie critic......he is simply a story teller.....I will do a movie with Baradwaj taking him as screenwriter

the climax is really a masterpiece

only if producers and otts focus on highly talented Indian writers and directors whether established, under rated, new comers, and give them absolute freedom and let them make whatever they want, and however they want only then the quantity of unique, highly localized, quality content will increase

Personally for me, KGF 2 didn't work that much. It sure was a spectacle and I was entertained and had Goosebumps at some parts. Here are some issues I had: (spoilers alert) I could atleast understand why Adheera lets Rocky to some extent but I still don't understand why Rocky lets Adheera live and forgets about him till preclimax. IMO, it's out of Character for him. People fear Adheera's sword and by killing Adheera before people of KGF, Rocky easily would have established himself as undisputed king of KGF. I also didn't like the editing in action sequences. Esp the one where it cuts to black repeatedly and we don't get to see the action. Almost gave me an headache. The editing didn't even allow me to process the climax twist. And the climax sequences involving fight between Rocky and Adheera is over edited imo. I get that it's needed to induce catharsis but all it gave me was a headache. Also yeah the second half was bit dragging esp with two back to back songs and the poor love sequences.

Guys this film should be watched ONLY IN Multiplex - INOX or PVR or Cinepolis. Don't go for single theatres..

Thoroughly enjoyed it!😊 Apart from the two issues you mentioned, I thought the editing by Srikanth Gowda in part 1 was excellent for a commercial movie. Editing in part 2 was okayish for such an amazing content. Not sure if my opinion would change after second watch.

sorry to say, I could not find any review in English with the central character being discussed as a flamen of goddess Kali, although it was genuinely highlighted throughout both parts of this story...

this is a out and out theater experience movie to be gulped up just once . the whole driving energy for kgf series are the world building and not shying to over exemplify the character traits (really loved the dressing choices for each of them ). they mean it , when the bold "rocking star yash" appears , u have to suspend the prenotion of what a hero has to do . The editing being the reason making kgf 2 a reason to watch. The editing at scenes where the audience would have guessed / referenced the idea ,such as car chase / end battle , are pretty well done.

Was she narrating the dream ?? at first I also thought so.. but she just said she had a bad dream and that conversation's ending line was shown as a cutback in the 'you-know-what' scene.. she didnt narrate what the dream was.. thats how i felt..

And yeah their are people who hate a movie this happens to many movies, but when a low budget film from a small industry does this . People go too far to force their perspective on others.

The thing I missed was the bad narrator we had in KGF 1. Anant Nag, being an older person would occasionally go forward in the story which would leave the audience a bit confused but also fascinated at the same time. This allowed the director to play around with a non linear screenplay. Prakash Raj, being a younger person was able to narrate the story in a linear fashion.

Maybe unpopular opinion but I don't like the editing of chapter 2 at times feels like I'm getting a whiplash the combat between Rocky and adheera is somewhere gone due to editing and in many other scenes.

Sir please try not to reveal too many scenes in the review. I am telling this as a moviegoer who often takes into account some nuanced reviews before watching a film.

RRR and KGF 2 are perfect examples of how to make an epic commercial film. My faith in Indian cinema is restored.

After all the hype I watched both the parts of KGF and wow!!! I seriously dont understand what's wrong with the people's taste for good movies.. This is a complete piece of trash!! Absolute trash!!!

Seriously...am I the only one not liked the part 2 as much as part 1? Way toomich over-buildup, Silly Parliament entry with gun? Cliched scenes b/w Sanjay Dutt and Rocky... Not one awe moments like Bread scene, Climax scene, Malad scene from part 1. Below par wrt Part 1. Below Par with RRR.

KGF CHAPTER 3 story will go overseas ie from 1979-1981 which was skipped in the movie intentionally. During this period rocly build KGF amd commit crimes in countries like US. There was also a scene where at mine he ask his uncle to get a turbine from US in order to speed up the mining process
