Everyone hating on Alem saying he does the same stuff and saying he has no chance in 2014 champs . You are basing off of now (this video) he has improved a ton and 2014 he will bring even better beats. He may use the same beats but he improves then constantly. Most beatboxers use the same beats at different battles because they are amazing beats. Don't criticise because you can't do what they do
His time has finally come, congratulations and maximum respect to Alem!!! Keep it up and you'll be joining Zede and Skiller as a judge before we know it.
he didnt criticise hes right. people say alem uses the same beats and he does because he doesnt need to use exclusive beats on kim although kim is very good, he'll save his best beats for battles with people like skiller, babeli, ball-zee, people that could give him a challenge in future battles.
Also dont try it on the sides has to be in the middle. Putting the Doeme snare in a beat will be hard at first but keep practicing and you will get it. I recommend Alems 'Westside Beat' just the 1st part for now. looperman has a basic tutorial for the beat just do as he says and replace the the K snares with the doeme snare. After a week or so you should be able to pretty much put the snare in many beats. Hope i helped kinda hard to explain it with a message :D
Well the BMG snare is pretty easy to do its extremely hard to do in a quick beat so i suggest the Doeme snare its pretty much the same thing just alot easier to use (The BMG snare has the bottom lip ontop of the top lip). Basically do a reverse pout/kiss as if some 1 trying to feed u some shit or something and build up pressure in the middle then quickly force air out whilst keeping your lips tight. Wet or dry doesnt really matter at first it will sound weak but keep practicing.
Oh oh my mistake again you watched the video 50 times? How qualified of a judge you are, I think the french champs should use you as a judge since you can watch a video 50 times
I love Alem as a beatboxer, but when kim was trying to show him love during his routine and pushed him away, is that normal? Is that something that's just lost in translation to me as an american or was that completely disrespectful? Either way it rubbed me the wrong way and I've lost respect for him as a human being
Really got to give it to Alem, compered to 2011 he has really improved mixing his old and new beatbox style! Kim as well but Alem were the better man this year.
6.09 is for all the idiots who keep saying alum uses the same beats all the time, u dont seem to understand the majority of the top beatboxers know they can rely on the old beats for the easier battles and then bring out the newer ones for the battles against harder opponents
I think they have very different styles. Alem does very fast, irregular beats. Skiller does a lot of very heavy bass in his beats, and incorporates a lot of fast breathing. They are both very technical and incredibly fast.
I like skiller and in 2012 was better than for alem, I think you can not say who is better, but who was better in battle. that does not happen now, but my opinion but would most importantly enjoy the battle between large beatboxers
alem made sure he made every technique at the right time , so he left the (west side) tech till last , smartest things to do ! big big big ups and congratulations to ALEM !!
That's what I mean. Look at the new guys beatboxing, people call them fanboys or copys, just because they beatbox fast, loud, dark beatbox style etc. '^'
I honestly could not pick a favorite with this one.although alem's beats are more technical, they are very repetitive, whereas K.I.M.'s are very original and unique.
That was beast! I think KIM didn't raise his his game enough like Alem did for the final, otherwise it would have been a lot closer. Incredible show from both though, and a deserving champion! Maximum Respect!!!
