Damn. I left trinidad at 5 in the 90s. Been listening to dancehall reggae for years and always wished trini had a dancehall. Years later now they do and I'm hearing k lion for the first time after hearing about swanny. This is really sad. I have to enjoy his music after hes gone. So far he's one of the best out of trini. Z.I.P. fam.
Trinidad have dancehall/reggae since the 90's. The new school of Dancehall artists are making a big movement from 2017 to now. Check out the big Trini reggae artists from the 2000's.. Prophet Benjamin, Marlon Asher, Khari Kill etc.
