I am not a religious person and a convinced atheist. I still love the song, 'cause it spreads the right message of tolerance and love, something we all, religious people as well as atheists, should live for!
Sad though. I know its a nice song, but its far, much, infinitely more than just a nice song to those who know the love of God! Hopefully one day you'll know that love yourself.
I actually have to stop what I'm doing to listen to this song. It's just too beautiful to not give it your full attention. God made his voice and lyrics more than just a song. It transcends. He definitely love us, all of us :)

I think everyone is moved in some way by this song. When I'm surrounded by thousands of people at a concert with the same beliefs as me singing this beautiful song about our Savior; makes you feel so connected. Makes me cry every time :)

i nearly peed my pants when i found out that him and his band was breaking up... i caught one of his last concerts and it was absolutely amazing to watch people being seriously moved by his music and talent that God has given him...God was working that day! :)

I know that I pull away from God specially these last few years, but my love for is always there, and this song just breaks all the walls that i build around me to keep him out.

I first heard the song during a youth night. My youth minister plays guitar and every small group, youth night, retreat, ect. He leads praise and worship. It has been very instrumental in leading me to where I am now. Though I am far from healed I really have come a long way.

Have performed this song countless times in praise & worship groups and have always given it the reverence it deserves. this song reminds me of how much crap people do. it reminds that he really does LOVES us!!! it may not seem like it but he really does. im a freshman in high school. its tough all the crap people do and say. but hearing this song just brings me back to what we really should be doing and how we should act and think. The way David sings this song expresses the intensity of the emotions I feel when singing along. This place of revelation of God's Love is not an easy place, not necessarily pleasant. It in deep anquish, with our hearts ripping out, like child birth, when this glory of Grace is felt in the depths of our being. A heart's cry, a battle cry. Thank- you God for David, who isn't just an entertainer, but a worshiper.
This is one of my fav songs and there is a funny story behind me listening to it. At first when my mom was like hey Krystle listen to this song i was like nah i don't think i would like it and she said just listen to the words so i did and they just sunk into me and i fell in love with it. and every single time i hear it i just wnt to cry because God loves us even when we do stupid stuff and walk away from him he is still there loving us
I am so sad David Crowder is retiring. :( Everything he sings is unto the LORD, but when he speaks....hahaha...well, you know it's all God when he worships. Seriously, love how real David is, hope my girls will surrender all to God like he has. Blessings!

David Crowder and his band (sorry I don't know their names) breaks all stereotypes of what a Christian should look like. I've seen on other comments that they don't look right. Well, what is a Christian suppose to look like? It's never been about the outward appearance. Its all about the fruit that they bear. God uses all walks of life for his glory. The fruits that David and his band bear are the fruits of God. David, thanks for using the gifts God gave you to worship him. Keep shining that light to those in darkness. The.horrible event that.happened in this story behind this beautiful song that. The actual person wrote it for a youth group, and perform it for them, that shortly after he lost his life in an auto accident that night. He left us such a beautiful and touching song about the Lord's love for us. I was touched when I heard that story and thought I would pass it on. So thank you for writing that song for us so we have something of you here on this earth, I hope to met you in heaven someday!

My church covered only the chorus tonight and I am STILL FULL from that! I had to play it when I got in the car to drive then I had to pull over I was so overwhelmed by the love of God…. The simplicity is stunning and it really just speaks directly to my heart and His spirit that dwells within me.
