In Part 9 Big U the Activist gives us some insight and rough statistics of his non profit organization, his mentorship program, and athletic program dealing with youth and at risk kids. Big U and his partner Mark "Bearclaw" Martin have become well known for their work in the Crenshaw District community since Big U paroled from prison in 2004. A lot of people talk it, but Big U and Bearclaw really walk it. Many claim to be giving back to their community, but what are they doing to advertise their organizations and the work they are doing to eliminate violence?

Big U is like a dude I grew up with named Lee, Lee was like everybody uncle he was in the hood, he coached football and boxing he took care of EVERYBODY!!! And never asked for anything back he basically raised us in the hood and kept us out of trouble....as much as he could...Big U is Crenshaw’s “Lee” these OG’s work tirelessly and never sleep and never put themselves first.

The things that Big U's program is accomplishing are impressive. In my opinion people need to create a boogie man because they live their lives in fear.
